Seeing that you're open to bribes, say... want a kitty? How about a 5 silver coins? Please don't make me beg.

I thought it was common knowledge now that I like when they beg.

I actually had one that I was mulling over with Bird, it's interesting to say the least.

The results were actually calculated within an hour of the end of the contest...
But the results have to be verified by a Mod or staffer, and we're all on different time zones!

I haven't heard back yet re: verification... but it has been a couple of days now... and I did double-check everything.... so, in the absence of a better plan.... I think I'll just go ahead and make the announcement?

So, without further ado...

THE RESULTS OF THE JANUARY SHORT STORY WRITERS CONTEST ARE as follows:

WRITERS
1st - AugustusMasonicus
2nd - camain
3rd - Jdennis10

Non WRITERS
1st - PrairieShepherd
2nd - FauxMulder
3rd - tikbalang.

CONGRATULATIONS to our winner Mason, and to our new writers... Shep and Mulder!

G

Great job everybody. I"ll be giving our rewards in the next 24 hours or so.

Gordi, your email ended up in my spam folder for some reason - hence the late reply, I'll give you another email address in a PM later.

You guys need some new guildelines to speed up this process....
Like choosing a new topic when it has not been done within a reasonable time frame...
Surely I'm not the only one who is frustrated by the seemingly unnecessary wait times...
And I'm not even competing...

Considering he asked me yesterday for the new one at what point will it become 'unreasonable'?
