Death metal is amazing, though some of my beloved bands(looking at Behemoth here) have gone commercial, a terrible faith for true metal. On the other hand Vader and Christ Agony still exist as amazing death metal bands. Ave Satanas!

Except that gangster rap actually is a very important reflection of how this country has treated the black community since the get-go. And despite the cherrypicked lyrics there is a whole lot of smarts and introspection in there as well. Death Metal is more like D&D cosplay stuff (and Satan isn't real, so whatever). But I like both, so there's that.
