I know this is the member photo thread so I'm going to quit posting my drawings here but I kind of owed you a some what finished product of what I started...

I rushed through a lot of stuff because usually around 2/3 of my drawings I loose interest and want to start a new one.



Please let me know where I should pay more attention to, I need the criticism!!

It's awesome. You want criticism I need to look hard and tell you I couldn't do it like that, shading is awesome.

Hair is good, better than mine, I struggle with that. Just one thing, I think the eyeballs are a bit too high up. You did it correct with the retina being hidden on top and bottom by the eyelids.

It's either the original is slightly nodding the head forward and there is some detail missing that hides it or they are a bit too high. But know that it also feels presumptuous to write this!

And I thought about that we are abusing this thread too much, too.. This morning, my daily shower idea was, why not start a contest similar like the writers contest? Someone announces a motive and we all try to do our best. Everyone that submits a drawing or painting, get's the right to vote on the winner. Meanwhile we learn a lot and may tackle new things and techniques. The voting wouldn't be secret but I think that's no problems. We're adults and embrace constructive criticism.

The trophy would be choosing the next topic/object.

You know...the eyeballs were bothering me too. I took some measurements from the original but they check out so I guess he is tilting his head forward a little.

It was driving me crazy all throughout the drawing...lol

I really like your idea of a competition thead, I'm in!!!

We used to do Avatar creation competitions and those were a lot of fun!

Check your messages, I worked out a scheme that would fit the spirit of this. We would need to coordinate this with the mods first so no attention is taken away from the short story contest. It could be user-driven, so no more workload for the mods.

It would be cool if you leave some thoughts in a message, it's really time we stop being offtopic but I don't want to start a thread yet. First we need to contact the mods about this.

And more interested members
I saw serdgi's art and I know there are more members that like drawing. New members and beginners should be embraced and have a chance to win, too.

Wouldn't have a clue what they're talking about half the time.

I cast my net aged 45-55.

I mean some totally beautiful men, but not the range I'm looking for.

Although still having a great time, this is something odd I find about my trainer.

He'll ask me a question and then he gets all upset when I look confused.

For example, he asks me: "Have you been eating a lot of junk food lately"?

And my mind is trying to compute, what qualifies as "junk food"?
The roll OK, but not sure about the tomato, and the onion, and the slice of cheese.

And he's looking at me, and he's getting more and more upset.
Next thing I see that scary lightning in his eyes.
"I asked you a simple question, don't look at me confused!"

But been three years now, so it hasn't actually exploded, although sometimes I wonder whether the problem is my "confusion", or his lack of clarity.

Lol. It's nothing weird I promise you. The original photos showed the plate numbers because I uploaded the wrong ones. I was outside of the edit window. So, I asked DTOM if she could put the obscured photos in. They just happen to be a little out of order. But it's alright.

So what happened to my old member pics thread? Did it get archived? Hey Zazzy. Long time girlfriend. I don't know how to add a pic here these days. I will look into the whole library thing. I haven't been here in ages. Much love to all. xx

Finally figured this out I think.
The time difference between these two photos is like7 years. Giorgio and I met back in 2011 not long after I had interviewed him for a live radio show I was co-hosting at that time. Eric was about 2018.

These pics are all from 2019 not long before the whole pandemic thing made meeting people in person very unlikely.
