I'm waiting for the headline that says Bush and Clinton die in bear attack hunting ducks.

That would be a world announcement worth reading.

No worries, it's popping up everywhere. CNN has it wrong per usual

No, the link points to February 2016, when Ramon died... try actually reading the link.

Yes, but not officially by US standards.

What does that even mean? He became acting President in 2006 and officially President in 2008.

I wonder if Trump will reinact the embargo, or maybe flood the zone with capitalism instead?

Must have touched a nerve.

Maybe I did thus the first post in this thread?

So silly

I expect the parties in southern Florida to commence. Another major chapter in history comes to a close.

This has certainly been a watershed year.

I re-read the link and corrected. I also apologized for the confusion. Maybe you just didn't notice

I would hope Trump would flood with capitalism. That could be a minor economic boost for the US.

May it be an omen for the death of Marxism.

Not just Florida.

I've half a dozen friends whose families had to flee from Castro and his bully-boys. I suspect some good booze is having serious dents made in it.

So if Raul Castro is still alive, why is it possible to link to a CNN article in February that says he's also dead????

edition.cnn.com...

I guess my ''fake' news comment still stands.

WTF?

NM...I see the difference between Ramon and Raul

No, I made a mistake. I searched for Fidel Castro dead on Google and took the first link I found which was incorrect. I have since corrected my link...maybe you haven't seen it yet.

Anyway, sorry again, for the confusion and thank you for assisting in bringing my mistake to attention. I appreciate it.

ETA
By the way, I think my original article linked to CNN, stated that Ramon Castro died. Apparently no new news on the story was available on line in regards to Fidel Castro. I was watching CNN when I heard the news. Again and for the last time, I'm sorry for the misreporting.

Good riddance. The only sadness here is this evil #ing dictator was able to live his life out and die naturally.
