Hey Hey ATS,

I have had a username for years now, however I dumped my old email address that it was tied to and thus lost the password. I only posted twice anyway, but I digress...

My name is CJ, live in Co. Been in the Army Guard as a Cav Scout since 2011. I love love love reading about black aircraft and area 51 so I spend most of my time on those threads perusing what is there.

In my spare time I love to cook, work out, read and snowboard.

I listen to music whenever I am awake (listening to Deftones right now)

I started 2 threads, one about the most underrated bands in your opinion as well as croc pot recipes.

Thanks for having me and I look forward to talking to you all.

Cheers!

Cj

I've always rep[lied and sent a welcome to new members. Lately i've noticed that the new members have no interest in replying in kind. So I say welcome. But if there is no reply I can't be bothered in welcoming newbies in future.

My kindess regards,

Bally

Welcome back!

I have to ask 2 questions. What is a Cavalry Scout? Tell me please we dont still have horse cavalry! Is that helicopter?

Second, what is the mood in CO since the election? Tranquil or confused?

Thanks and welcome back!

Thank you much! To answer your question about Cavalry Scouts: we provide forward reconnaissance either mounted or dismounted. We utilize Humvees and/or Bradley Fighting vehicles for mounted ops.

The mood here is Denver has been pretty calm. There have been a few protests here and there but nothing substantial. The protestors shut down one of the highways for an hour. That was about it.

Thanks for the info. If I remember correctly, I saw a documentary about a tank battle in the war to liberate Kuwait in which a BFV took out an Iraqi tank. One intense and very intense moment.

I have heard of that story, I think the BFV commander wrote a book. Good Stuff either way!
