WOW!!!

I had a landlord like that - devilishly creepy woman... She'd just walk in on you for no reason, so I kept a chain lock too. She'd try and then the chain would catch her and allow me to actually answer my door if I chose. She was just plain weird in a bad way.

if it's only 10 dollar difference then whichever is closer to work. If you work from home then it won't matter.

Also if you pay your own utilities then realize that if the unit is "electric heat" then now or later you might have to pay that bill. Those bills are huge. So if it's a gas "hot water heated" unit, then that's most often included in the rent. So you'll never have to worry about a heating bill. This is very serious. Look into it.
