Several new species of deep ocean creatures have been discovered. This is my fave.





It amazes me that we are trying to discover if life ever existed on Mars, but meantime we don't even know about everything that lives on our own planet.

From reading the article, I don't think think these are new species, just rare species. The findings that are new are methane vents. That it certainly a cool looking octopus though!

So... newly discovered, huh? At least one of those creatures (the one you included as being your favorite with photo), was discovered in 1980 by a Japanese video-game company called Namco. Here is the proof:

I swear I've seen a picture of that octopus before on the internet, ages ago. I think this article is a bit misleading or has outdated info.

That's not a new species, it's Cthulhu's severed head... He should have known better than to try and join the presidential race. This is what happens when a candidate shows up that might actually threaten Hillary's rise to power. Guess we can add Cthulhu to the list of deaths linked to the Clintons.
