Religious people are the most delicate of snowflakes, who absolutely require safe spaces to practice their backwards, misogynist, anti- science, mystical voodoo,

Actually, they don't, their own Bible says you worship where you want, Churches are unnecessary. It's in the Bible, it must be true ha ha...

Seriously though, why do people feel the news to covert to Catholicism to farther their political careers? I remember there being a big deal when another famous war criminal, Tony Blair converted to Catholicism. I didn't understand why it was newsworthy but figured there was some hidden meaning behind it if the Biased Broadcasting Corporation was making it a headline.

During this period, the Christians are the primary target for destruction in the US, especially the Evangelicals who "cling to their guns & religion." They are the most aware that Islam is NOT a spiritual path, but rather a "violent totalitarian political system disguised as a religion."

Religious bigotry and special pleading.

Your Christianity is no different from Islam in any meaningful sense, certainly in no political one. Go drip the poison somewhere else.

Talk about WRONG ASSUMPTIONS. I am NOT a Christian of any stripe.

I DO believe in God as the supreme organizing intelligence of the universe. However, I do NOT belong to ANY organized religion.

Poison? What you call "poison" I call truth. Islam was NEVER a spiritual path.

People need to wake up to what is being done to them and why.

All right, then. Let’s drop the ‘your’.

Christianity is no different from Islam in any meaningful sense.

Happy now?

Poison? What you call "poison" I call truth. Islam was NEVER a spiritual path.

You can call it what you like, it’s still poison.

Did we see any Clinton campaign people calling Muslims backwards in the Wiki leaks drop?

You know, those gay executing Muslims that believe that women should not be in public without an escort and don't deserve to be educated?
Those forward thinking Muslims.... totally progressive Muslims.

No, what we saw about Muslims in the leaks..... Hillary takes BIG money from the people that support ISIS!

You did NOT understand my original post. All you focused on was "Islam."

If you believe "Christianity is no different from Islam in any meaningful sense" I would say you are NOT familiar with EITHER Christianity or Islam.

There are plenty of Muslims who know nothing about Islam. They only know what their Imam has told them.

Hmmm well we had 1 catholic president and the world nearly stopped. The religious right, the rev J. Falwell they came to be to stop Kennedy from the presidency.

In the religious south outside of latinos catholics are held with disdain so these folks seem pretty out of touch with reality.

On the contrary, it means I understand it considerably better than you do.

There are plenty of Muslims who know nothing about Islam. They only know what their Imam has told them.

And plenty of Christians who know nothing about Christianity. They only know what their pastor has told them.

Thanks for substantiating my point.

There are major fundamental differences between Islam and Christianity Theosophically speaking.

The largest being ruling by the sword and trearment of infidels. That doesnt mean christian politicians historically obeyed their scripture but the N.T. is very different from Koran.

The next ‘deplorables’? Clinton campaign rips ‘backwards’ Catholic beliefs in leaked e-mails

In the latest WikiLeaks, it came out that her campaign denigrated with absolute disrespect Catholics and Evangelists in their conversations. That is a voter base that they needed to turn against Trump. Donald's eleven year old tape of locker room banter that they held as their big ace in the hole just got tossed out the window. The Sunday services will be filled with the directed ire and disdain of Hillary's attitude showed towards the very religious crowd her campaign depended on to be offended the most by Trump, God certainly works in mysterious ways lol.

Not all Catholics are against pro choice. Not all Catholics are anti homosexuality. Not all Catholics believe you shouldn't even communicate with a woman during her period. Not all Catholics are against eating shellfish. Some fundamentalists are.

Your link is from a pro life site which I assume opposes abortion in any circumstance. That doesn't equate to all Catholics.

Your desperation seeps from you.

Certainly not. It’s ‘backward’, not ‘backwards’. People should learn to spell

"Who is this person who speaks to me as though I needed his advice?"

That would be "Who is this person who speaks to me as though I need his advice" or "who is this person who spoke to me as though I needed his advice"

All about not mixing present and past tense.

In fact most catholics barely go to church. Its almost more a purely cultural deal.

Evangalists however, are down right nasty to Catholics which is where this view probably stems from. Baptists don't even consider Catholics Christians.

Conservative versions of any religion are usually extreme.

I'm not going to comment on anything that might be accurate in Braveheart, but trust me, my post was meant in the gentlest of jest.

Absolutely, fundamental versions of any ideology - religion or otherwise - are always going to be stuck in their ways.

Hey, own it.. catholics are creepy. Big dead guy hanging around, bones all over the place under altars, relics relics relics IE parts from dead bodies all over the place, Going to a Catholic church is like visiting a great haunted house attraction to me. Here at the cathedral they had the travelling dead body of an incorruptible on display for all to see. Did I go see it? Hell yes.. deliciously ghoulish fun! Then they transubstantiate crackers and wine by magic incantation and want me to eat living flesh like a cannibal and drink blood like a vampire. Yes, a religion I find great fun!

You still think this is about Isis? We been in the Middle East for decades now destroying everything in sight, radicalizing countries that used to be peaceful.

All for what? Profits for oil companies? Defense contractors? Installing puppet leaders? How do you expect to keep building aircraft carriers, fighter jets, subs, drones? How do you make the case for tax payers if there's no evil boogeyman?

I thought we learned our lesson after 911 and the patriot act.

weirdly enough I think we are agreeing here. Yes you are right, the establishment has created boogey men for decades now to have an excuse to continue wars.

Heres one pattern that is used over and over again.

Find a country we don't like, arm the rebels, help the rebels over throw the government, and then attack the rebels a couple of years later.

Its disgusting. But the point is not only is Hillary a part of the establishment that does that, it has been shown that she knows that the saudis are financing and arming ISIS, and yet she takes millions from them, and is actively sending her people over to help cover up these crimes.

This is treason, and it is helping ISIS, a group that among other things has child sex slaves.

So knowing what you know about the US middle east policy, why would you vote for Hillary who is already helping Isis before she is President?

Do you really think that Hillary helping ISIS who enslaves child sex brides for war profits is not worse than bankruptcies by Trump?

Even if you hate Trump, thats fine don't vote for him. By why would you bother to ever defend Hillary knowing these facts?

Just admit it, the Republican Party is the party of fear mongering and it works. They tell you Mexicans are going to rape you then kill you then rob you, they tell you Muslims Muslims are going to blow up your entire family and force you to worship Allah, they tell you Obama is coming door to door to to take your guns, these are the same people that told you Saddam had WMDs, and they even been so desperate to say Hillary and Obama are responsible the mess in the Middle East even though it's been the exact same foreign policy for the last 70 years.

Excuse my language but you need to grow some balls and think for yourself instead of repeating what some establishment GOP think tank told you to say.

Theosophy has nothing to do with either Islam or Christianity.

Christianity is not the New Testament and Islam is not the Qu’ran.
