From someone who supports isis and their barbaric religious beliefs to call anyone else backwards is an epic fail.

Will any catholics support hillary when they find out she allowed a catholic priest to be murdered in a church in france by isis as she did nothing to stop state sponsored terror by saudi arabia and quatar?

The next ‘deplorables’? No.

1. Trump got into it with the friggin Pope and called his remarks about Trump "disgraceful."

The end.

Oh you want more?

2. It wasn't Hillary saying anything
3. Unlike certain fundamentalist protestant sects, Catholics don't vote in a bloc.
4. Did I mention that Donald J Trump called the Pope's remarks "disgraceful?"
5. Tim Kaine is a Catholic. Mike Pence is a Catholic who became an evangelical and I believe is currently unaffiliated.
6. The Pope is big on fighting climate change, Trump believes global warming is a hoax perpetuated by China.

Need some more? Get as excited as you want over this but nothing will come of it.

First off these were top people in her campaign

But not her.

It was mentioned several times.

So what? It’s a fact. Are you pretending it is not?

Hillaries faux outrage at Trumps supposed religious intolerance

I am outraged over it too, and I assure you my outrage is not faux.

There is a world of difference between a comment made in private by an employee on a payroll and the public stigmatization of people’s faith by someone seeking election to the highest office in the land.

Well back to bashing Christian faiths then!

Nobody is bashing Christianity, just the sexual mores of conservative Catholics. Incidentally, you would do well to educate yourself on the differences between Roman Catholicism and Hillary Clinton’s faith, Methodism.

So as a Hillary supporter who signed up to ATS 2 weeks ago you may not be aware but Hillary has a paid army of shills out there misdirecting away from her faults/blunders and attacking Trump.

How do you personally feel about that?

Also how have you found your time here on ATS?
You seem to enjoy the political forums, work or pleasure?

The next ‘deplorables’? No.

Well to be honest it might be the next deploreables. I don't think that comment really hurt her though, so its not a high threshold.

1. Trump got into it with the friggin Pope and called his remarks about Trump "disgraceful."

The end.

True, but I think the point is that of hypocrisy. Bashing someone for religous intolerance and the engaging in it is not good.

Though in fairness, I didn't hear her campaign call for banning Catholic immigrants.

Oh you want more?

Why not?

2. It wasn't Hillary saying anything

Yep, this is the best answer. I think she should condemn this talk, but that would be good enough for me. However, I am not easily offended, so I guess it will be up to each individual.

3. Unlike certain fundamentalist protestant sects, Catholics don't vote in a bloc.

True, but I still would not want to antagonize too much. And although all may not vote in a bloc, it could still sway some.

4. Did I mention that Donald J Trump called the Pope's remarks "disgraceful?"

Not as bad as insulting the whole religion I would guess. But then again I am not Catholic so I have no idea.

5. Tim Kaine is a Catholic. Mike Pence is a Catholic who became an evangelical and I believe is currently unaffiliated.

I am not sure this will matter much.

6. The Pope is big on fighting climate change, Trump believes global warming is a hoax perpetuated by China.

Need some more? Get as excited as you want over this but nothing will come of it.

Same as answer 4.

To me this isn't a big issue at all, though it is fun for me to see so many tolerant people (rather it be people on these emails or people on this thread) bash an entire group of people.

And hillarys ties to isis are just being exposed.

Yeah keep calling people backwards!

I feel like most of my thoughs on your posts were answer in my response to ante.

But the cliff notes are that I don't think this is a big deal.

I definitely agree with you that this is less "intolerant" than proposing a ban based on religion.

But I am not going to bash an entire religion. I can disagree with their beliefs without disliking the people.

I am not saying you are doing this, but some may be.

So she's going to lose zero votes by calling "conservative Catholics" backwards, compare that to one of the biggest evangelical leaders in the US that wrote a 5,000 word letter on why we should vote Trump is now calling for Trump to step down and pulled his endorsement.

I'm guessing you won't have a post on that Jiucy bit of info will you?

Forgiveness is a cornerstone of the church.

God will get him later.

Right now they should worry about what Caesar wants and pass on judgement that is not theirs to hold.

I'm glad you brought that up....

Trump Hasn't Asked GOD For Forgiveness

Oops lol.

Told ya God will deal with him later, like you and me.

Maybe all at the same time if hillary wins and destroys life as we know it.

Since I have no religion at all, disliking people whose beliefs I disagree with is not an option for me. I live in a society where nearly everyone is religious, attitudes to religion are very traditional, and religious intolerance is a far more serious thing that it is in the USA.

I am not saying you are doing this, but some may be.

Not within the Clinton political machine. The quoted material is not a general degradation of Catholics in any way at all.

The problem is your guy has so many known skeletons in the closet that Hillary appears to be a decent choice compared to the other option.

Skeletons? Like knowing that Saudi Arabia sponsors ISIS, and yet still accepting millions from them and helping them cover up their crimes, thereby helping ISIS thrive?

Oh wait, that wasn't Trump, that was Hillary.

What skeletons does Trump have that are worse than helping possibly Americas greatest enemy behead gays, take child sex slaves and many other horrible acts?

Exactly, there's plenty of corrupt things you can pin on Hillary but it all becomes useless when the guy you chose is even more crooked, more corrupt, a bigger liar and cheater, a man who has a 30 year record of doing and saying the most shameless things.

His track record on business is deplorable, 3,000 lawsuits, 3 bankruptcies and admitting that corporate welfare is one of the reasons he's not completely broke.

You get the point now?

Lawsuits? Bankruptcies?

Are you kidding?

You think this is worse than Hillary helping ISIS?

Wow.

You still think this is about Isis? We been in the Middle East for decades now destroying everything in sight, radicalizing countries that used to be peaceful.

All for what? Profits for oil companies? Defense contractors? Installing puppet leaders? How do you expect to keep building aircraft carriers, fighter jets, subs, drones? How do you make the case for tax payers if there's no evil boogeyman?

I thought we learned our lesson after 911 and the patriot act.

It sounds like a couple guys talking about religion. Surely there is something more substantive.

But it is interesting to read the chitter-chatter of her minions, as they plot her way to the Whitehouse on a wave of donor money, of which she will certainly have to pay back in policy or favor.

weirdly enough I think we are agreeing here. Yes you are right, the establishment has created boogey men for decades now to have an excuse to continue wars.

Heres one pattern that is used over and over again.

Find a country we don't like, arm the rebels, help the rebels over throw the government, and then attack the rebels a couple of years later.

Its disgusting. But the point is not only is Hillary a part of the establishment that does that, it has been shown that she knows that the saudis are financing and arming ISIS, and yet she takes millions from them, and is actively sending her people over to help cover up these crimes.

This is treason, and it is helping ISIS, a group that among other things has child sex slaves.

So knowing what you know about the US middle east policy, why would you vote for Hillary who is already helping Isis before she is President?

Do you really think that Hillary helping ISIS who enslaves child sex brides for war profits is not worse than bankruptcies by Trump?

Even if you hate Trump, thats fine don't vote for him. By why would you bother to ever defend Hillary knowing these facts?

The next ‘deplorables’? Clinton campaign rips ‘backwards’ Catholic beliefs in leaked e-mails

In the latest WikiLeaks, it came out that her campaign denigrated with absolute disrespect Catholics and Evangelists in their conversations. That is a voter base that they needed to turn against Trump. Donald's eleven year old tape of locker room banter that they held as their big ace in the hole just got tossed out the window. The Sunday services will be filled with the directed ire and disdain of Hillary's attitude showed towards the very religious crowd her campaign depended on to be offended the most by Trump, God certainly works in mysterious ways lol.

There's nothing surprising about the contempt Leftists have for religion of any kind.

During this period, the Christians are the primary target for destruction in the US, especially the Evangelicals who "cling to their guns & religion." They are the most aware that Islam is NOT a spiritual path, but rather a "violent totalitarian political system disguised as a religion." They also take the 2nd Amendment seriously.

The Muslims are very useful to the Globalists for creating chaos and (hopefully) civil war in any non-Islamic country they are allowed into. Hillary (good Globalist Bankster puppet that she is) plans to brings hundreds of thousands of Muslims into the US from Africa & the Mid East.

The current socialist Pope is on board with the Globalist agenda. I'm waiting for him to extol the virtues of the Carbon Tax. The Carbon Tax does NOTHING to fix the environment, but will help line the Banksters' pockets (the real objective) and help impoverish the citizens of First World countries. How malleable the poor & desperate are. The Catholic Church will be dissolved when it's no longer useful to the Globalists.

ALL religions will be destroyed eventually by the Globalists.

How many generations will it take the Globalists to shape the New World Order slave who has no family ties, no religion, no moral or ethical training, or gender identity. It might be sooner than we think. Those who are young now will see these agendas unfold more & more.

America is an imperial power. Americans often pretend not to know this, although you are happy to reap the benefits.

Imperial powers have imperial responsibilities, the first of which is self-protection. When your interests are worldwide, you ignore conflagrations in different parts of your empire at your peril.

The Middle East, saving Iran, is unambiguously part of the American Empire. You walk away from it and you can kiss your republic good-bye.

Religious bigotry and special pleading.

Your Christianity is no different from Islam in any meaningful sense, certainly in no political one. Go drip the poison somewhere else.

See it makes sense that way too and, just for the record, if you wrote it the way I did, my response would have been to repost it the way you wrote it. I don't want either of these muppets in the Whitehouse...
