I know a baby called Zebulon....with a name like that I fear he will be a galactic overlord because not many names deserve a title after just like Ming (the merciless) but Zebulon sure does.

My family has increased by one.

A boy child has emerged and he is healthy.

It's day three and he has no name.

Some suggestions would be welcome. Six months we've known his sex and still no label.

Congratulations ATS brother! What an exciting time for you and your family.

Here are a few that popped into my head:

Levi

Henry

Sebastian (nickname could be "Bash" or "Seb") - I thought of that one because it's the name of a friend of mine from Switzerland

Let us know what you decide. Wishing you and the family all the best

Being of Scottish/Irish heritage, both my brother and I were given traditional Scots names. So when I had my daughter, I carried on the tradition and gave her a Celtic/Gaelic name too.

If I had a boy:

Tristan
Liam
Quinn
Bryce
Glen
Riley
Aiden

If we ever had a second, I was going to lobby for Christian Jacob. He could go by Christian, Chris, Jacob, Jake, or CJ depending on his preference as he got older.

You have exquisite taste, if I don't mind saying so myself.

He's a Denis, no doubt.....

Or how about 'Future'.... when he's a kid he's all 'i am The Future'
When he's a teenager he's all 'hello girls i am your Future'
When he's an adult he's in debt paying off student loan, married with 3 kids, paying off the mortgage and wishing for the past!!!

If I had had a boy, the choice was Tristan.

I named my youngest son Tristan. Choosing names can be so difficult. I really steered clear of naming after family members, and tried to be mindful of how their names could be twisted into something else, because let's face it, kids are cruel.
Even harder still, each of my kids has 3 given names.
I would definitely lean towards a fringe name. In the beginning there will be naysayers...but it wears off quickly when the child goes to school and has three kids with the same name in his class.

?How about the name Nick. Nick's a real name. Nick's your buddy. Nick's the kind of guy you can trust, the kind of guy you can drink a beer with, the kind of guy who doesn't mind if you puke in his car, Nick!

Congratulations on the birth.
