My family has increased by one.

A boy child has emerged and he is healthy.

It's day three and he has no name.

Some suggestions would be welcome. Six months we've known his sex and still no label.

Well, David is an obviously great name, but so is Ethan or Joshua. Yes. That's both my boys.

If we ever had a second, I was going to lobby for Christian Jacob. He could go by Christian, Chris, Jacob, Jake, or CJ depending on his preference as he got older.

You could replace Christian with Christopher and get the same results if you are uncomfortable with the religious overtones. I actually didn't pick it with religion in mind. I just thought Christian was less common than Christopher while still be a legitimate name and both sound good with Jacob as a middle.

Congrats!

Is there a cool last name, like "Power" so he can be designated "Max Power" or something??

Anyhoo, the name "Finn" is a bit different. Not too many of those out there. It does sound kind of Irish too.

Like my aunt's joke about the family cats - "Two cats with three names: Stopit, Getdown, and Dammit!"

Congratulations!

I do like Zebulon. LOL! Call him Zeb. But then I think the Walton's was the best show ever, beside Andy Griffith.

I also like last names as first names sometimes, like Smith. Or Ford.
