Not to worry. I get brain fog too, mine is due to liver function, I don't express a particular enzyme very well, it seems, which leads to a failure to cope with hormone break down that leads to toxins backing up in the blood. Generally means I need to drink more water and boost my antioxidant load, but it can take a day or two to clear so I understand how frustrating it can be.

Take care and thanks anyway.

I was a signaller for 9 months, phase 2 was at Blandford for me in 2002, got discharged in phase 2....... the Army was supposed to calm me down in my turbulent 20s, it was making me worse, All good now though, although i have heard that psychopaths think they are fine, haha.

not to drift the thread i will add...
I think that TDL is in a win, win, situation. If they pull the rug from under him and make him look like a crazy fool, he can just go back to being a rockstar.
he wouldn't be ostracised, because the ones that are following his every word now, regarding the phenomena hes on about, are in the minority, most people think we are mental. I dont know anyone personally that takes any of this stuff seriously, you say to people and they roll their eyes, as if thet have the world sussed out, nobody cares, they dont want to contemplate the truth because they are comfortable with the lies, but generational conditioning will do that. Would people accept a truth relating to TDLs hints? or would they all go Mad! i think personally that an inconceivable truth if disclosed would see a large portion of the populace die soon after disclosure, belief systems that have been built up over a lifetime in a heavily conditioned person if shattered by an absolute truth......... then to me these people wouldn't fair to well.

i have read a lot of examples of how peoples bodies give up with no hint of an illness because there has been a major change in their life, like the death of a loved one, the news that TDL is proposing as a disclosure, will shatter many millions belief systems, if not billions.

That's because certain changes in life cause stress and stress could cause illness (for instance psychosomatic disorders etc.). Stress is also a big energy drain in that regard, draining our battery/life energy. Check the Holmes and Rahe scale for more about this.

Now, I don't think it will be that big (if there would be an announcement). Most people won't see their believe system shattered, they'll just laugh everything away even if it's obvious their believe is 'wrong'. It's some sort of defense mechanism.

These changes require time, everyone at it's own pace.

Edit: it's the difference in opinions that would be caused by this that worries me more

im not entirely sure what a major shift in global consciousness would do, tbh. i imagine it could cause confusion, i believe that
things that get a lot of belief put in them, we create on a level that has great energy, a conscious positive energy, like God, Allah, Christ consciousness, i think these powerful things exist on an omnipotent conscious level, whether we created it with our thoughts or we thought about it because it already exists, i dont know.
I dont think i would be surprised by any great truth that was revealed as i have contemplated many possibilities and the only thing that scares me is the prospect that there is nothing, so i tend to not entertain that possibility.

The Defence Mechanism would probably be denial, some would say stress causes these things, others would say stress is caused by the way we think and "choose" to live our life, im in the belief that the way we think matters, even down to the silliest thoughts. www.psychologytoday.com... when you have known something from a young age, because you noticed it first hand, then there comes scientific evidence backing it up, it solidifies that belief. Thats why one of the very few things i do "believe" in, is the power of attraction.

Thanks Daveg80. I was Signals for 10 years back in the 80's. Cleared to handle COSMIC TOP SECRET ATOMAL in my day. Even saw a few UFO reports, which is where I got the buzz from....Seems there are are few of us ex-Royal Signals on here (BeeTee is another). Strange

I have a few questions about TDL and his thesis which I need some help on from you guys please.......

1. He says THE OTHERS, why would this term be used?

2. Consciousness - I need some help to understand this, bit of a head banger, to excuse the pun

3. TDL says we give off the frequency that connects us to the source (GOD). Why can't ths be detected? It's Physics is it not?

4. He says it's much closer to "Home" than we think. What does he mean by this? Solar System? Earth? Interdimentional?

Appreciate the help on this.......

i can give you my take on what hes saying mate, i think others are beings of other dimensions, or other strands of string, that also are on earth, he has also said that the stories of Ancient Gods are real and that they are numerous, good and bad. and i think he did say something about consciousness along the lines of we create them but i could be just remembering that wrong, as far as frequencies go there can be many out there that are unknown and the reason we cant see them is we dont know what we are looking for, i think personally that we could be powerful attractors through emotions and feelings, and we basically bring things on ourselves, like highly devout people getting visions of their deity, or if someone instills fear in ghosts etc there mind manifest ghosts, UFOs etc, whether those things exist in other dimensions or our mind is f...... with us i dont know.

he does answer more in this AMA than i thought he may have intended to, but you should check it out if you haven't already.

Peter Levenda was a perfect choice for the book.

Peter does great research, and I'm glad that he is writing about the occult backgrounds of famous "UFO greats".

But by throwing everything up against the wall and drawing few major conclusions,

At the end of the book it may be an enjoyable read, with a good bibliography..

But it won't tell anyone what to think, feel or believe...which is good...but that will be very disappointing to many (in my estimate...)

There’s not too much new in Ufology lately, let’s face it.

Levenda is a great researcher but he can’t get blood out a stone
We’ll hear the same old stuff about the Nine, the occult racialists in the 50’s who were into Ufos, the government cover-up story, the same old stuff. Though, younger folks may get a good condensed version of UFO occult history.

I will buy it because of Levenda

BUT…

Where at a point now that the aliens have to sh__ or get off the pot

The power of human belief doesn't seem strong enough to force the mystical silly putty (the exotic matter/energy whatever it is) into the form of a nuts and bolts craft on the whitehouse lawn.

So with no aliens or alien toilet facilities...im afraid we are stuck with just another UFO book to add to the list...but probably a fairly good one.

I just don't think i and a few others will fit TDL's demographic as i read the few pages i could see what was coming and it was information which i already had, heck it even looked as if some of the literature had been lifted from existing threads/post's right from here ATS!

Still it's early days and is a good start for those new to the field and the youngsters wanting to get some facts and theories.

So it could be a book i may add to the collection but i'm more interested in some of the contributions from tom's contacts within the MIC and the letter agencies. lets see what they have to add.

I read the whole preview...fair play to them, they do state in the introduction that the book is only suitable for believers and as soon as I started reading the beginning of the first chapter I realised that they weren't kidding.

Why claim to be multi-disciplinary? Cherry picking sources, vastly out of date in some cases, is not the "truth", they're building a belief system. Levenda is an excellent writer, he has a comprehensive knowledge of literary sources and litters his writings with them, usually accrediting them in footnotes, his 'factual' references tend to be a little fuzzier and unattributed, not always, but mostly I've found. But he is a very entertaining writer who creates an accessible read and a perfect choice for writing a 'believeable' background story for a new belief system. Those who 'trust' Levenda's 'skills' as an 'investigator' will probably not be inclined to 'fact' check.

It is what it is, and they're right, it isn't for me.

It says in the foreword that Tom has had a UFO "experience", it doesn't go into any greater detail than that, as I recall, other than to point out that Peter Levenda has not had a similar experience. Both points were particularly pointed.

Cargo-cults seems to be what they are hanging their whole thesis on. They're using the same disproven arguments and evidence but claiming that they are interpreting it differently and that that in some way, I presume, to their minds, makes the evidence suddenly plausible. Must be, they have 5 words from a massive corpus of historical works, that confirms exactly what they propose. Same old, same old. If they're so damn entrenched in researching the "truth" why not ask the opinion of an anthropologist...or an archaeologist, or anyone with any expertise. If the "truth" must get out there, why not share a little of the credit?

I think that they have a niche audience, somewhere around the common denominator mark, and should do very well with that demographic.

Jacques will support anyone he believes is making a sincere effort to promote research.

That's all I can say.

Jacques is a wonderful human being...not the manipulative occult scientist meme that floats around the Internet.

There is a tribute song about Jacques from way back.

The lead guitarist went on to become a Big Country member. Remember?

On a slightly less frivolous note the Wikileaks emails have completely stopped since the US election.
