The Visit

I saw a measurement of time today
Slowly but gracefully inching it's way
It tickled me quietly with a greeting
I was pleasantly surprised by our meeting
I quickly grasped it with my hand
Then replaced it back to it's woodland
That it could travel the silk road
& so it could return to its abode
I thought of the treasures it came to give
Also the force that created it to live
All though the creature is now gone for today
It made me think about it’s future foray
This creature is a pillar of delight
One that will soon fly back into sight
I'm so happy it came for a visit
It was so eloquently exquisite
