I thought about adding storyline, but I wouldn't even know where to start. I'm frightful at the prospect of reading through all the backstory.

Hi Chooch! How are things?

Mousy, If you want to start a story line, just jump in. The Shed lands or lands of Accasia within the shed lands are endless. You can appear anywhere doing anything as long as you keep within the site rules. You can appear through a portal into this realm and just start your story there if you'd like. OR... you could be a character who has always been a part of Accasia and lived there.

It was 1995 i was 15 at the time and very much into martial arts and meditation.

I knew I read this some where.
So ......Holy moly. You guys had me laughing but now I can't stop because I swear I read and re-read the date as 1951, before I made this quote, but just now I see it is 1995.
I am not kidding and all I am drinking is tea spiked with honey.

I get it now, I am the one in twilight zone, please help me back. This is why I awoke from a restful slumber to get a good hardy laugh.

15 in 1995 ~ I think I might just die a little inside if he was 70!

Unless of course I've just awoken in a reality vastly different to what I fell asleep in last night.
Always a possibility.

Oh Dear, I completely forgot about the two of you.
You are not in an alternate reality, it is me.
So when I read 1951, I found it so nice to have another elderly person to relate to. You know one geriatric to another. "So how is your arthritis today Buddy" . I spent a lot of time yester day, while going about my mindless job. wondering why I hadn't noticed that he was so mature.
Any way you and others have given me a good laugh.

I do that at work, or when ever there are mute moments, I "write" stories, letters, think of replies to people, contemplate concepts, it is actually at times an unwanted interruption when some one addresses me, because it breaks my thought process.
I will ask people "Are you think, may I talk or should I wait?" Yes that is "different"
Good night Kaelci. Sweet dreams of you elderly frie

*giggles*
Ahhhh, you make me smile! And I'm glad to have contributed to your own smiles and laughter today!

But no, I understand completely your mute moments and unwanted interruptions. I spend a -lot- of time lost within my own mind.
Only to have thoughts completely vanish, never to return, because of an unexpected distraction.

It's not "different", it's thoughtful, especially to a fellow introvert.

*hugs*

Good night, and sweet dreams!

I finally figured "that" out it is rather back wards.
But here is a cup of coffee for you from the site.
Thanks for the help.

Waving, must get my broom ready to fly to work. Wooooosh.

(Not part of My story, but a quick morning blabbering of an old squinty eyed Dragon...)

Syx wakes up very early to hear some soft voices in the Shed. Perhaps some are in the kiitchen having morning coffee. That is where He heads as He staggers down the hall. CC and the two Young Bragons sleep peacefully, as He amble further down the long corridor... ~BUMP!~ "Ouch!" He says louder than He wanted as He stubbed His toe on something on the floor.

He looks down to see a toy left absentmindedly by a youngster. It was a toy Horse, carved from stone. It belongs to Fart.

He is the young lad, about 9 yrs old now, of the friendly Ogre family that has taken up residence in The Shed. He got His name for when He was born, that was the first sound He made after His trip into the outside world, from inside His Mothers' warm womb...

So laughing at that unexpected sound from the wriggling baby newborn, His Father said, "Ah ha ha ha haaaaa! Did You hear that Yuma? That came from the baby, NOT Me!!". Skrug laughed while smiling widely.

"I can already see that He takes after His Father." His wife Yuma said with a weak smile...

Good Morning Shedlandians!

(Now to go back to catch up!!)

Hi Mac! Glad You are well, but a bit concerned about the numbness.... (Thinkin on that...) Hmmmm...
Pinched nerve? Could be a nerve ending in one of Your feet, or one in your lower back.... Has Your back been bothering You a lot lately? Maybe a swollen vertabral disk pushing on the nerve bundle, that runs through the spine and up Your back...?
Also diabetes can cause nerve probs...

Actually, I have had sciatic nerve problems since I was 18.
So bad that I cant walk when I agitate it.

Ive been to Dr's, specialists, chiropractors, a Sports medicine clinic. The only thing I haven't tried is acupuncture.

I had cortisone shots in my back 2 times in the last 2 years.
The next step is surgery I think.
However, the weird thing is when my sciatic acts up, I dont get that numbing nerve pain that many describe. I just get intense crippling pain, that feels like my butt cheek is on fire.
It comes and goes luckily, for the past little while, I havent had any issues with it.

I thought I recalled a while back you and somebody else speculating on how dragons breathed fire. When I saw that I had an "aha" moment and had to send it.

How goes work on your shed?

Hey gordi!!
An inversion is almost the exact term and phrasing i was origionally going to use in my post.
You and i think similarly!😃 i knew thete was a reason i like ya so much. Well that and tiddles. That car truly is awesome.
As far as him being a light being. Its possible. I am currently pretty damned interested in Quantum Electro Dynamics and photon emission in the vacuum and how to get fermions to behave massless and much like light. Maybe thats the way advanced beings explore the universe. Alter their refraction indicies so that they dont interact with the EM virtual waveform (the vacuum) and dont have mass. And thus are able to travel faster than C without incurring the penalties special relativity would impose.

Youve given me some food for thought.

QED... Photon Emmisions in a vacuum... massless fermions... refraction indices... EM virtual waveform... faster than C... special relativity...?

Yup, the answer is definitely 42!

PS - I'm going to have to start calling you "Sheldon" from now on!!

Oh, PPS - If pure photons look white (coming towards us) would they look Black if we could see them speeding away?
(Like an "absence of light"...as they move off...)

Maybe the Black/White light paradox is like Matter/Anti-Matter?
One can't exist without the other?
You somehow got a peek at the Anti-World and your Auntie Blobby got a look at your world...

Macenroe82 - I deal with similar - although from the sounds of it not quite as acute - issues stemming from a car accident back in college. When my back or neck flares, it's debilitating pain, not numbness. The numbness is on a patch of my thigh just above my knee and that is all the time, even during flare-ups.

Back injuries can be...difficult to deal with.
