My first tattoo

I've finally settled on my first tattoo. Always wanted to get one, but the prospect of having something on me forever has kept me second guessing what I should get.

So here's what I plan on getting



Big card player here. Poker, blackjack, you name it. My ex stole my idea for a spade tattoo, so I'm one upping it lol.

I'm getting it on my wrist, and I plan on getting more when I can actually decide on what I want.

Anyway, if you guys and gals wanna post your tattoos have at it.

My wife has just had her first Tattoo, I am not really into them as such and I think I am the only person in their 30's that does not have one.. I like to be unique


Warning it will open the flood gates, my misses went from sh1tting herself before it to talking about more before it was finished, now every few days she will bring a new idea to the table for another one.

Ah you get a kraken, I got myself an octopus with it´s tentacles around eight symbols that mean something to me. I should probably go to a "re-stitch" (is this how it´s called in english??) soon. Also, I like the number "8". It´s also a moebius loop. It´s on my chest. He has the nickname "drucker" (printer). Because he will even stitch that pixel error onto your skin, if you want it "exactly like that"

Really, it looks like it has been printed when its done, big kudos to the man.

So everyone with a tattoo has issues?

Please realize there were people with tattoos, before the MTV shows, before it became "hip" and before you got one "just to have one". I got mine last century for example.

edit: don´t get me wrong, everybody can paint their body like they want, but I´ve the impression that today, there is much less thought about the whole process and then realize they will have it for their whole life.
Mine is on the chest and it´s for me. Not for someone else to look at or proof something.

She is of South East Asia Heritage and she had Thai lettering on her forearm to wrist, indeed women can look good with tattoos and she can pull it off due to her figure and overall style. She now wants another one on her right arm and possibly neck but she works in the medical field and it really is not encouraged esp in Asia lol. but I also hate seeing tattoos on some girls esp if they are not errrr the most tasteful. I have a close female friend that has just had a massive leg tattoo done and TBH it is far to much for me to look at and think wow lovely, and she is actually a very attractive girl stunning in fact but the tattoo does not complement her well. I know this may have people saying I am a snob etc etc but hey that's how I feel..

Personally I would never get one as I get bored really easy and change my mind frequent and regarding Tattoos this is not a good thing..

If I had to do it all over again, I'd get a 3D tattoo.

For example. . .

I hate them, they remind me of war and prison. When people say sheeple I think tattoos.

I think you need to look through history regarding body art it has been around a very very long time, they even found a T rex with a "I hate veggies" tattoo a few years ago..

How the hell can you come onto a thread where a member is discussing their tattoo to then say this?.. Good you do not like them, I do not have any but who am I to say what someone can have??..

And in saying that they can be useful, I will be getting my Dad a tattoo of where he lives and a contact number as he does not have the best brain in the world as he is getting older, see they can serve a purpose!!!...
