These questions are the reason why I intend to reserve judgement.

I'm pretty sensitive to veterans being attacked or abused in anyway. But I also know there's a lot of us who are mouthy and tend to write checks the body can't cash.

If this was a racially motivated outright attack, then they will have my support.

Very wise and reasonable. I've been going through FB and have found a few accounts of people that commented on their posts, but it doesn't appear that those accounts have been recently active. Not very up-to-date on FB's ins and outs, but that's what I have found.

Over half of SAPD is something other than Hispanic.

A call for service about a brawl involving multiple parties is going to get multiple officers in response. I can't imagine that every officer who responded was Hispanic, and that all of them decided to do nothing to help, including not calling medical.

This has got to be a cooked up story.

You see, the problem is that people were blaming "veterans" for the shootings of the cops.

All the cop shooters were ex-military vets.

Veterans were being "associated" with the BLM movement. At least, they appeared to be on the same side.

So, somebody decided they needed to distance the "veterans" from the "BLM" movement.

What better way to make the distinction clear, than have BLM beat up a bunch of vets?

My vote is that this whole story is fake. It's too convenient.

Not that I agree with that. Some of the most amazing people I have ever meet were Iraqi Muslims. Some Kurds too for that matter.

Convenient story. That isn't to say it's not true, I'm just reluctant to believe it is. Even if it is, aside from it being disgusting to attack anyone because of their skin color and vets have been through enough without added BS like this... why do you paint all of BLM with the same brush or even assume if a person is black they must be part of BLM.
