You are correct the History channel is the worst it's all stupid reality shows.

But I love the ridiculous speculations on Ancient Aliens because they speculate on interesting monuments that can't be explained by known history like digging small apartment complexes out of caves with little technology and the ever popular crop circles.

Like the one that was a response to Sagan's message sent out in binary code. It can be proven that it was man made, but how do they make those things so precise?

As Augustus says there's a commercial flight going to Antarctica. Parts of Antarctica are tourist destinations.

fwiw, Admiral Byrd is a relative of mine. In fact, I'm named after him. It's all as weird to me as anyone else, even more so because I tend to be more open minded than the average person. That open mindedness leaves me flat...nothing more intriguing than the meaning of Hollow Earth simply being caverns.

I can accept that, I am a skeptic by nature. But then I hear people's first and second hand stories about the continent because of my family relation. Then, no I do think there is more to it all, at least some very under reported science and yes just about everything you can imagine after WW2.

Anyone who thinks I'm using trademark Byrd hyperbole can look at my account and see how often I am anything except 90% skeptic. I am still a cynic, but think there is or was wild stuff amiss down there.

Yeah, unfortunately Phillip passed away from Cancer about 3 years ago, if I'm not mistaken. And yes, one of the most level-headed guys on the show, to be honest.
