Guy needs to see a psychiatrists bad. He ain't fooling me with his cynical story. Vampires do exist but they exist in another realm. Not only that but vampires exist rarely in this realm. Vampires are the same and different from humans. I have never seen one in person and will not take you down a trail of lies saying "that I have". Vampirism is something that is graced by demons for another shot. Are you a vampire? No, you just need help. In your story, you gave no indication of having a 6th sense(to say the least) or supernatural abilities. Just psychotic ,violent and disturbing behaviour that display the character of an ungrounded mind in a deep mania. Sun hurts your eyes? Mines to. Wear sunglasses. Mom was a witch? I have that in my family as well but I'm not knocking heads in the ground and throwing childish fits. You should give yourself to research. Psychiatrist have the treatment you can definitely use. I think you are a child molester and your conscious is catching up with you. Michael Jackson was made the Thrilla video when he reportedly had his urges. You are not alone. I am familiar with this type of lunacy.

I clicked this topic in hope of amusement, but it's a sad disappointment.
Obviously, it's not about vampiric facts and fiction, but anxiety and despair.

Shame on the author if he's playing games, but otherwise he has my heartfelt sympathy.

Nocturnal-

in any case you're on the wrong track here.

If you're suffering, stop exposing yourself online.
The problems you adumbrated can not be solved by remote diagnosis-
you will end up bewitched and bedeviled even more.

Ask someone you know and trust, not online avatars-

thread closed.

Vampires exist, just not in the way most would think. There are those who consume blood and that along by definition is a vampire what they don't have are the powers that hollywood and Anne Rice have seduced them with.

I can't say that I understand fully your stance on things, I can't give you proof of the undead walking the earth but what I can tell you is that you're the only one that can define what you are.

Don't make the same mistakes twice, don't take love for granted and most of all don't over or under estimate what and who you are.

why could they not exist. i think all the smart ass comments and what not are based off of some subconscious fear. i mean what is so special about this world, that a vampire could not exist. we all know the vampire cliches, so im not going to run through them, but i wouldnt be shocked if a vampiric being existed in this world. strong body, innane thirst for blood, advanced hearing, advanced immune system, big whoopie.
now obviously they arent as their depicted on the movie screen, or we would be seeing this # all over the news, or maybe they are, and there are very few in this "world" of ours. like someone else said, maybe theyre from another dimension, and dont cross over, or maybe they cant, and if they do, its a rare occurence. sounds sci fi, but it could very much be a possibility.
the last thing i will be worried about at night is a freaking vampire. i believe there could be some in this world, but obviously there isnt a nation of them, nor do they appear to act as there movie counterparts, biting people and jumping out of 20 story buildings into ambulances, with glowing white eyes(blade 1).
you want something to worry about. worry about those young thugs having children, that will inevitably rob and or kill you in the future. we need to concern ourselves with "real" issues that could harm us. f a vampire.

Vampirism does exist. Either through medical illness or through psychological.

You need to speak to a medical specialist in your area. No matter how scared you are. If you have any care for your fiancée then you’ll go and get yourself checked out. The changing of sleep patterns, etc, is all linked to a psychological illness (delusions) as well as paranoia and anxiety. It is possible the stories of what your mother did, triggered this ‘event’. (I’ll find you the name of the illness as soon as I can. I’m going through my books as I type this.)

Best thing you can do, is write down all your problems and take that peace of paper to a professional. They can help you out, better than this forum ever could.

Nice ideas.
I've always thought the vampire myths could have been brought about by diseases. Many old medicines for diseases such as skin cancer involved gruesome practices such as drinking blood or eating raw meat. These probably didn't work, but anyone with such illnesses would be encouraged to stay indoors, at least during the day. At night there would be less people about, which would suit the patient well, especially if the disease was physically disifiguring.

A more dramatic theory could arise from cannibalist cultures. Not necassarily obsessive cults (although, that could be possible), but maybe in societies where eating the flesh of a dead person is considered socially acceptable.

I have been a vampire for a few years now, I mean I've always been an active member of supernatural cults for all my life, but in the past few years there has been a decrease in number, since the nights have been getting darker, us vampires have been driven underground, those damn werewolves!!!

Vampire
Vamp-ire
n. A reanimated corpse that is believed to rise from the grave at night to suck the blood of sleeping people.

A person, such as an extortionist, who preys upon others.

A vampire bat.

Vampire
n. (folklore) a corpse that rises at night to drink the blood of the living

For the record, that is the actual definition of a vampire. Simply because someone drinks blood does not make them a vampire.

I do not disagree that it is possible for vampires to exist. I do however recognize that there is no physical evidence of one ever existing. While you claim that many people make smart comments based on fear I feel that most lash out based on frustration. The problem with these and werewolf myths are that they are so ingrained into our culture that they have developed a fanatical cult following. People often see or believe what they want to be real, this fact blurs research lines and makes taking a serious look at this subject extremely difficult. I find it ironic that people who suspect that they may be a vampire usually never seek a medical opinion simply because they are afraid that the answer will come back that they have no medical condition and simply enjoy the myth too much. When actually researching a topic it is always necessary to take an objective stance or your mind will lead you to the answer you want.

ok let me clear up a few things here. there ARE vampires, not like Hollywood that burn up if they are touched by the sun. there are records of vampire reports dating back to when Babalon was still the main city. BC times. The first was Lilith a Vampire Goddess. to be a vampire is a desease, it has to do with a lack of chi in your blood. the reason for vampires only walking at night is because they are less visbale and if you think about it logically when is the best time to attack someone. when they sleep so, they dont have the strength to fight you off when they just wake up. i have done a lot of research into the subject. a vampire is merely a deseased human.
although i must admit i love the taste of blood however due to AIDS and other blood deseases i will not just go out drinking and i wont drink a lot either as it naturally makes a human throw up.

Damn that was right on the money, good job on calling him out, cause I didn't want to have to write my frustration with him, it's very reminiscent of the kids that get picked on and go into their own little fantasy land to escape how #ty reality is, and the internet is a perfect place to pretend to be something your not
