Started A New Piece Today

Anyone else have one of those days you just felt like painting? Today's been one of those days for me. All day long all I wanted to do was get out a canvas and go but that yard work and garden got in the way. So far been just cramming oil on this canvas I dont know where this one will end up though any suggestions lol? Anyone else do any art today you want to show off?

IDK really just wanted to do something else today. I have been working on a short cartoon, a life size oil painting of a welder, and my comic book, this was an escape from that for now. I'm pretty certain my imagination is a very dark place if that's what you were alluding too? lol I am still painting on this thing now, I decided it is going to get a green and white/cream swirl lolly pop and the back ground is goin to get hanging orange lights like the droopy ones you would see at marde gras.

Damn, man. this is right up my street. Acrylic or Oil? I am not patient enough for the latter. so hat's off to you if it is.

I don't really sell anything I make. Every once in awhile someone will ask me for something an I will sell it that way. Other then that don't really think I'm ready for all that yet.

Thanks, I try. I'm not a very experienced oil painter so I'm still kind of learning the medium.

I hate that the camera on my phone cannot capture the color the way it looks IRL cause this pic looks like the dumb down version. there is so much more detail and color then what is shown here.

I got a place for you bud. Right now my computer is getting fixed so my comic is on hold for a few more days. luckily for me that frees up some time to work on other things like this new piece I started yesterday.

You got a great painterly feel and that mouth is freaky cool! Dark subject matter where I am is very popular.

I'm pretty busy lately creating new work and getting shows, and have a residency now in a small collective which helps flush out show ideas before I hang somewhere major. I really need to get around to posting some images when i get time.
