Advice for the Far Left. [Part 1]

Disclaimer:Though my country has a few different parties to choose from, if I were american I would be considered left wing. More to the center on some issues, and probably quite left on others. Im super into human rights, gay marriage, women right to choose in most cases, I care deeply about the environment, I love science, I'm an atheist. I think socialism is a good idea in lots of cases (though I understand we still need elements of capitalism) I like Obama etc etc

All of which I feel the need to state before I say what Im about to (not that any disclaimer in the past has helped me not receive hate on here but its always worth a shot)

I really did use to think that most of the extremism and stupidity happened on the right side of politics. I would watch Fox news, and laugh at the bias. I would watch John Stewart and think he was a genius (to be fair he is). I didnt understand why people could be so obsessed with guns, and love jesus so hard at the same time. Watching this election run, its still very clear to me that there is a lot of stupidity on the right side. We can just use the pandering argue special Olympics that are tying to be passed off as debates as an example, or two words: Ted Cruz or one word : Trump

However
The more experienced I have become, the more I have realised that there is just as much stupidity on the left side( if not more). Most of which found in the far left camp. Its kind of an embarrassment. In fact it seems clear to me that the far left has gone FULL RETARD.
From the third wave extreme feminists, to buzzfeed, its all awash with a sense of a real lack of education. Even Bernie Sanders let me down claiming white people don't know what its like to be poor. Way to completely slap every poor white person in the face.

Here is some real sound advice for anyone taking part in any of this malarkey. I do this because I care.

Extreme Feminism: now Ill keep this short because Ive spoken enough already about you people. YES YOU PEOPLE. Not everything is rape. Not everything is to oppress you. Not everything is because you are a women. You don't have special entitlement just because you were born with a vagina. Instead of complaining about how women are quote "paid less" and how there arent enough women in government/medical fields/science fields, Go out there and GET INVOLVED IN POLITICS. GET A DEGREE. AND FOR GODS SAKE DEMAND THAT PAY RISE! ( and then get back in the kitchen where you belong)

Reverse racism deniers. : the words 'reverse racism' annoy me in the first place. RACISM IS RACISM. No matter what colour the person is, if they are being unfairly treated or worse BECAUSE OF THEIR RACE, its racism. White people can experience racism too. THIS SHOULDNT TAKE AWAY FROM THE EXPERIENCES OF PEOPLE OF COLOUR OR MINORITIES! We are all human.

Culture Appropriation: DO YOU REALISE WE ALL CAME FROM THE SAME PLACE ORIGINALLY RIGHT???? Culture appropriation is not always a bad thing or offensive. Culture appropriation had gone on since the start of time. A lot of the things you think come from your culture may have not. People of another culture doing this should not offend you unless they are doing it to MOCK you. ONLY THEN IS THIS OFFENSIVE. Trends rub off on each other. Fashions change. everything comes from somewhere. Almost NOTHING is original.
As Charles Caleb Colton said "Imitation is the sincerest [form] of flattery". So stop being offended by every single thing like someones god damn hair style.

BLACK LIVES MATTER MOVEMENT: yes your cause matters. and it is a good one. HOWEVER do you really think being disruptive and violent is the way to get your message across? riots? You just end up proving what people who type cast black people claim about you, and therefore you achieve nothing. Saying racist things about white people? You only make yourselves look like the type of people you are fighting against. Furthermore shouldn't we be moving forward, not backward. Separating the races isn't going to help anything. WE CANT GO BACK IN TIME. we can only move forward and it should be together.

Trump Rally Protesters. : Same as above. Being violent and threatening violence on people who go into the trump rallies or vote for trump only makes you look like the bad guy, and helps trump. People on the right may feel so offended by your actions that it sways their vote. so CUT IT OUT you look ridiculous.



The reason most of this annoys me is because people assume I AGREE with you idiots, because I describe myself to be mostly liberal minded. I cant defend your actions because you are making the rest of us look bad

Research what it is you are yelling about, and please get it across in a more productive way.

like this is one thing that confuses me.... often people who are very left with speak out against Christianity or Christians for being against gay marriage and whatever else, but wont apply the same standards to Islam.
Im left wing and still able to put all religions on the same scale. YES people should have religious freedom but we cant tolerate intolerance. And we cant tolerate people having their human rights abused with the protection of religious freedom

Well your obviously not from America. Religious freedom means you can hate whoever you want and write laws about that and make the public your congregation.

I live in New Zealand. Less than 40% of the country is religious. and of that % most are just born catholic but non practicing.
We have almost complete separation of church and state. I dont think we have many laws based on religion anymore. Even our prime minister who is the head of the right wing party similar to the republicans said that "science is the way forward and the most important thing to our future'.
Noone has to pretend their favourite book is the bible to get elected here (im looking at you Hilary)

Our forefathers wanted it. They really were very skeptical especially of supernatural religions.

I try to stay totally neutral . I am an equal opportunity offender. It seems like I have had more to say about this new Dem Party due to their only tactics are deflection , derision ,etc. No logic nor reason . Just emotion. Um IvyNeptune, I really hate to point this one out an not meaning to offend but what your calling Left over there sounds very much Libertarian not Liberal over here just from observation of your stances. Witch actually I respect a whole lot.

As for the Left Right scheme in the USA it is Broken, what your quoting as what left and right are suppose to be in the USA or what they both claim to be, when in fact both Parties are More Centrist statist based with a very small lean to the right or the left of each other and one group calling the other either Fascist or Communist depending one which slight lean they have.

We have not had True Right and True Left in the USA in a Long time, just what the media Labels it.

The "Hard Left" and the "Hard Right" almost do not exist any more Both sides give lip service to the Goals of their party but when the cards are shown they are ALL about the big machine of Statism.

If I Saw a candidate that was Really balanced on the Federalist and Statist scale or Full on Federalist, with no care left to right both have ugh and both have good points, heck even a true Centrist but in this society that person would appear totally like a Nutso Control Freak who does not belong anywhere, I would vote that way but Those in the main Two parties do not Exist any longer.

Hence why if I am going to vote for a Joker as is I will vote for a Comedian Ron White, because you can not fix Stupid.

None of those are especially conditions of the Left. I mean, a lot of the extremist feminists for example are quite right wing.

And the Black Lives Matter people, they're not united by being Lefties/Socialists.

America doesn't even really have a political 'Left' anyway. Hasn't since the McCarthy era.

New Zealand is one of those places I think America should be emulating. I've literally looked into the immigration process because it's beautiful, and the people are just better off in new Zealand.

There's crazy people on all sides, and mostly I've come to the conclusion that America's government is just too large. Inefficiencies are ever more obvious when a bad system gets bigger and bigger. For every right we think the government needs to grant us, there's another crony politician that promises us they will represent us..

These are rights! Not wishes, not paychecks, no one needs to sign the back, nor tell us that our wish is granted.

Growing government only serves the government. Name an issue and you can mostly trace it back to government.

Gay marriage? Government has no business in our personal love lives.

Business? Corporations and government have written trade pact and legislation and regulations benefiting the Giants. Corporate lobbyists shouldn't even be able to be heard because our politicians should be working tirelessly to ensure a fair, free, responsible nation.

Drug use, Marijuana, gun rights, education, religious freedom, separation of church and state, illegal traffic stops, veterans assistance...and far more topics talked about daily are things the government is doing a terrible job of.

Solution? Cut the government down to a tenth of the size it is, and give states the right to govern themselves. If interest in local and state politics grew, there would be less apathy. Less apathy means more would get done on local and state levels. More getting done on these levels would further justify dismantling the federal government we have.

Anyways, just my two cents.

You have to take everything into context. Just as a religious zealot is deemed a conservative Republican, the black lives matter cabal is deemed a left movement. Most people paint in the colors black and white.

Gun rights, religion, being against abortion and Marijuana use, anti immigration, capitalism are deemed as being right wing.

Minority representation, pro choice, pro drugs and Marijuana usage, stricter gun laws and such are deemed as being left wing.

Though it's not so cut and dry, it is how people identify at least. Most black lives matter members identify as progressive liberals, most gun rights advocates, nra members and the like identify as right leaning conservatives.

Yea, I get it, but what many don't realize is that the "glue" that used to hold the US together as something resembling a mono culture is gone; the fabric of this society is being torn asunder from many different directions.

The result is that in actuality, a whole lot, if not most "Americans" don't like their fellow "Americans" and in fact many if not most harbor inflamed resentments bordering on outright hatred for "Americans" they see as opposed to them.

The result of that is these excesses you're arguing against, BUT in reality, these excesses just fuel more hatred and resentment, resulting, ultimately in VIOLENCE which is the feed stock for the MSM! And as the incidents of violence increase the profits of the MSM increase along with the general level of hatred. As a result, the MSM blows the excesses up and way out of proportion to fuel more hate and violence to increase their profits.

In short, you can maybe understand it better from an old song....Paper Moon, i.e., "Its only a paper moon, (the excesses of which you argue against), "Hanging over a cardboard sky", (the phony US that's emerged since the destruction of that which the US used to be).

In other words, "don't worry about it" its too late to worry and too soon to cry.
