What are you even talking about? I guess you're also going to act as if the multiple decade long US embargo against Cuba had nothing to with its
poverty?

Who is "they"? Socialism can work well at any level, as Social Security and Medicare show. Social Security works so well that administrations from
both parties would dip into its surplus money for non-related expenses (and placed a cap on how much of someone's income is taxable for it).
Besides, no one's calling for 100% socialism anyway, not even me. And I'm far more socialist that Bernie Sanders (note: the OP specifically calls out
Bernie and Hillary Supporters, even though Hillary's a neoliberal capitalist)

Western & Japanese imperialism were directly using capitalism. Don't try to act ignorant of that. Even China's communist revolution was the direct
result of the exploitative "
Unequal Treaties" that were forced onto China by the West. Surely
you know about the 2 Opium Wars and how the West waged them so they could exploit China. And of course, the
"
Scramble for Africa and its exploitation also caused the multiple African revolutions
during WW2 and the Cold War.

Re-read what I actually typed in my 1st post. And this time, actually read the links as well. I simply pointed out how socialist programs helped
drastically reduce the poverty and extreme poverty there.
