I'm watching CNN live on youtube. Bernie is blowing Hillary away in Washington State!!!!

The Bern!, oh no!, the Bern!!!!

*cheering and dancing around the house*

Bernie is NOT DONE - he's only just getting started.......
it's so exciting!!!

What do you guys think?
Are you paying attention to today's caucuses? (AK, HI, and WA).......
No GOP action today.

Very strong turnout in WA and also AK! I think it's just sunrise in HI....so, we shall see!! But anyway - the link above is live CNN coverage of the caucus in WA.

Now they're covering Alaska - they are hearing a "lot of buzz" for Bernie.......

because, according to one voter, "he's grassroots!" Wonder how Sarah Palin is feeling right now?? She just publicly broke up with Ted Cruz.......btw.

They're talking to people about writing in Bernie - and what a great message that would send to DC.....that even if they hand the nomination to Hillary, many many many Dems and Independents will write him in anyway.

Caucuses are so dumb. That said, it's good to see Bernie looking positive today because he needs nothing but wins from here on out!

Today is HILLARYous! It's time for her to admit she's not a shoo-in. We're done with her...we voted for Obama twice (at least, I did).....and he's done a really good job with what he had to work with. Stupid GOP obstructionist crap has sunk their ship.

Still - there are issues that he didn't get resolved. Honestly I don't think Hillary would do much better - in fact she says she's just going to continue doing what has been done. All while she continues to give $225,000 speeches to Wall Street villains.....

Bernie's embers are inextinguishable.......the Bern is not stopping, win or lose this cycle....welcome to the future.

It's called Progress.
You'll LOVE IT if you all just give it a chance!!

There aren't enough states left for him to win. Hillary will win no matter what, the DNC forces are the same RNC forces that are trying to stop Trump. If Bernie had won most of the southern states you better believe the media would have a field day with him instead of dismissing him like they do. They would be saying equally untrue things about Bernie as they are Trump. Now don't get me wrong, Id love to see Bernie beat her.

Caucuses are so dumb.

They are....in many ways.

It always makes me think of Alice In Wonderland.....when I was a little kid, I didn't know what the references to 'caucuses' were all about - now I do!

Lol. Hawaii and Alaska?

If this was a Republican getting excited about potential wins in states with virtually no electoral significance, you'd be completely dismissive and laughing about it. Social media would erupt with incessant profane descriptions of how unintelligent the candidate and his campaign staff are.

Win or lose the same message is being sent on both sides, people do not like the establishment. This will set progressive anti establishment candidates up for the next cycle when things get worst due continued stagnation. I think more and more are realizing that this isn't a two party system, it's one. Imagine if the right steals from Trump and he runs independent. That would give the green party a bigger chunk or open the door for Bernie to create a 4th party because less worry of spoiling it. Ideally.... one can dream.

I'm a "Green Party" supporter also. They just haven't gotten enough momentum going yet to be significant. If they and Bernie teamed up it would be so awesome!!!

And, welcome to ATS!!!

Mother Nature has just endorsed Bernie Sanders.

With the re-amping of his momentum, he's got a clear path to the nomination.

While he may be mistaken on one or two issues (who isn't?) could it be that this bird senses no malevolent intentions?

Well I certainly hope he makes it.

I'd love to see a referendum on socialism in November.

Since his avian visitor in Portland, I think we should all give Bernie the bird!

hahahahahahaha

Have fun today!

4051 total delegates
Clinton has-1223
Sanders has- 920
That's 1910 delegates left, but a 300 delegate count gap is somehow impossible to you?
Do you actually look into the numbers or just say stuff?

The Soviet of Washington has less than 100 delegates that will be allocated based on the caucuses. It is well-known as an extremely liberal state and the results are not at all surprising. If you are celebrating over Washington State results, you're delusional. Win California or New York and you might have something. But WA is inconsequential.

Well the next issue is going to be Closed Primaries.

In many states or rather most states, it's said that when sheer numbers turn out, Bernie wins. The big states coming up, like New York have draconian Closed Primary systems where you must "Switch" to a political party whose primary you are to vote in, MORE THAN A YEAR in advance before the primary date.

(ie, before you even know which candidate you are going to support)

Many many many would be voters are cut off from Closed primary Election processes, especially in many of the states he needs.

Could you believe this system?

In New York, a "switch" from Unaffiliated to a party is actually counted as a "Switch of Parties" and still must wait over a year to be effective to take part in Closed Primaries.
