Guess what you need to learn about camera SENSORS.

Digital video cameras tend to have very SMALL sensors and a resultant property from that is a HUGE depth of field.

Many vudeo cameras have sensors similar in size to mobile phones . A large bug could easily show up as a few pixels like the image plenty of youtube examples where people have videos of bugs in the field of view which look like what we see.

It could be a bird/insect.
