Nans, i'm pretty sure it has beenused, after all the CIA didn't do test in conjunction with psyops just for the fun of it.

Human-Machine Plug-in Direct Interface, has been concidered but I never found any solid proof of it happening. although I believe it will be possible.

Most of that stuff is already being used. Maybe not in high scale useage but in small aspects. You know that. If you are asking if armies will use these methods on large scales then I would say that it is quite possible. I think that hacking and and mind control will be used most definately. All will it take is for brave/knowledgeable people to go in and find a way out. If it's simply a mental technique then they can teach it to others. If it's a physical/electronic solution then it can built from inside or communicated to technicians on the outside.
