Hitler was a grunt soldier in World War I at that time, I doubt anyone in the U.S. even knew he existed. The anti-Bush rhetoric here is nauseating.
Harriman Bank was the main Wall Street connection for German companies and the varied U.S. financial interests of Fritz Thyssen, who had been an early financial backer of the Nazi party until 1938, but who by 1939 had fled Germany and was bitterly denouncing Hitler. Dealing with Nazi Germany wasn't illegal until Hitler declared war on the US, but, six days after Pearl Harbor, President Roosevelt signed the Trading With the Enemy Act. On October 20, 1942, the U.S. government ordered the seizure of Nazi German banking operations in New York City.
Prescott Bush's business interests seized under the act in October and November 1942 included:
Union Banking Corporation (UBC) (for Thyssen and Brown Brothers Harriman)
Holland-American Trading Corporation (with Harriman)
the Seamless Steel Equipment Corporation (with Harriman)
Silesian-American Corporation (with Walker)
Bush's interest in UBC consisted of one share. For it, he was reimbursed $1,500,000. These assets were later used to launch Bush family investments in the Texas energy industry.
...
There are unsubstantiated rumors concerning Prescott Bush's associations with the Nazi party. The Anti-Defamation League has stated, "Rumors about the alleged Nazi 'ties' of the late Prescott Bush, the grandfather of President George W. Bush, have circulated widely through the Internet in recent years. These charges are untenable and politically motivated." [1] The rumors began with extreme right-wing attacks on George H.W. Bush during his 1980 presidential run and were renewed during his 1988 run.
The New York Herald-Tribune never referred to Prescott Bush as "Hitler's Financial Angel". The Tribune referred to the German industrialist, Fritz Thyssen, as "Hitler's Angel" and mentioned Bush only as an employee of the investment banking firm Thyssen used in the USA. The label was ironic, since by the time the Tribune article appeared, Hitler had turned on Thyssen and imprisoned him. There has been a determined effort by Canadian bloggers, apparently connected with Lyndon LaRouche, to circulate reports that Bush himself was known as "Hitler's Angel".

The Sedition Act is unconstitutional, as it's in violation of the First Amendment.
Then again, Bush and his bunch don't give a rat's behind about the Constitution anyway....

What is funny is how many seem to focus on the "Bush Family", and miss the much larger picture. Do you think it is just them? What's the difference between Bush and Clinton? Bush married a woman with class and dignity. Other than that, nothing. Clinton birthed the Patriot Act, Bush put it into use. Clinton was the liberal president who did nothing for his base, Bush is the conservative president who did nothing for his base. Remember the OK City bombing? For the first time in years, that incident came back to mind, and guess what? There are many, many unanswered question about that scene, gaping holes in the "story" that were never bothered with. Now we have another situation, one that might or might not be fabricated by the NWO, but either way, it is being used to close the net around us. Meanwhile, you guys are hung up on one stupid family because of your blind hatred.
What's going on now has not a damned thing to do with Nazism, folks, take that stupid record off the player and break it so you can't sing along to it again.

He believed that WWI was a result of the "competitive imperialist system". That's World War One. A man far ahead of his time. I don't follow his beliefs exactly, but I digress.
