Thank you, and as for his decision I can not comment as I'd never had surgery nor know the true nature of his. That being said I haven't seen what I would do to manage that situation. I do know I can be empathetic of his sinical stance right now as I've experienced that without hard times.

Wait, no one's commenting that this no-immagination derivative 'art' from a Banksy wanna-be took five days to create?

Five days?

Really?

But 5 days! Most masterpieces take much less time!

Well, I think 5 days is kind of fair/reasonable.

Most artists don't get things perfect straight off, so some of that would be developing how the image is to look. Then comes the working out of the stensils, which seems to be a light grey, dark grey, black and red. So he has to cut out each of those cut outs for the whole image. Not too hard, but doing an accurate (recognisable) image does take quite some time and skill with a scalpel. Unless the artist is doing this via a printer/plotter, in which case he's cheating a bit.

After the Democratic Socialism is the savior of education thread...

Good time to inject my observation...

I think the US is currently, quite possibly, the most socialist nation in history... by a big margin.

You know, that would be a good post for discussion.

Though we have had many "socialist" attributes injected over the years we really have more of a "Cronyism & Debt Enslavement" form of Government at all levels.

Most socialist attributes are for the purpose of exerting "control" over those who use the "services" offered and control of those paying for those services through taxation. There is always a catch. Debt is now the driver of productivity.

I owe, I owe, so off to work I go....

Soon they will implement "means testing" and make sure you are dead broke with little to no assets before you can "receive" those wonderful benefits that were promised so that we can all be equally broke (except the political and donor / crony class that is).

Ownership is an illusion if you truly never own anything but must pay some form of "tribute" to keep it every year. Our education system is in shambles, and school counselors actually PROMOTE teens to go into 10's of thousands of dollars in debt for useless, overpriced degree programs.

Funny how nobody is talking about these College and University windfall profits

A form of corrupt Crony-Socialism yes, especially for Government "Civil Servants". It will probably will get much worse as those on the Federal Civil Servant and similar Government plans must have more fuel for their pensions and non-obamacare superior healthcare plans.

Dependent Class, Worker Class, Professional Class, Government Drone Class, Celebrity Class & Donor-Crony Class, Government Leadership Elites.

Ahh ok, that's why it was a genuine question. But even if you posted in bad taste, I do get where you are coming from. I understand that Disinfocom is more of a vehicle rather than another ATS poster.

I see both sides of the coin here, SkepticOverlord is always working in the background to keep ATS alive, which involves things like an creating alternative websites. Or seeking out content ATS worthy and bring it here. It's the way of life, and I've certainly noticed and worried about the slowing down of topics over the last year.

But I feel the hump to get over is similar to that huge rash of Jesse Ventura 'Off The Grid' posts, and it appears Disinfocom is doing the same as well. They post and run.
So the ATS populace see's these topics and posts expecting it to be by a regular user so they want and need feedback from the Op. It's kind of what we've trained to do over the years!

But that interaction never comes because these posters are on a special podium. So instead of generating talk amongst us about the topic, we feel like we're just participating in some click bait scheme when we realise whats going on.

So instead of whining about it, can I put forth a suggestion? Can perhaps these types of topic posters (which I see the need for, and appreciate the work being done behind it), be posted in an alternative text colour? Perhaps disable the 'star' count for them, because I feel that 'humanises' them to a degree but really they are not an active participant so perhaps if it was missing that would remind us not to expect interaction.
Or even a small banner at the bottom reminding us that there is no Op there to interact with, but to continue discussing amongst ourselves? Something along those lines.

Anyway, hope that SkepticOverlord reads these ideas which might relieve some of the angst!

He's a street artist from Chicago originally who will create controversial images with a heavy influence from Andy Warhol and banksy

His work is a carbon copy from those influences and IMO he should look deep inside himself and bring out his own style

Non Americans outside the USA are also going to be critical on so called self elected leaders of the free world speaking for us when they don't deserve that right,a position Trump may well have in the future

I still don't understand the comparison. I guess it's one of those things that if repeated enough by a few morons, it'll spread unquestioned to the rest of the idiots.

Really? Do you know what Hitler promised while he was still vying for the chancellor's favor?

He promised to bring Germany back to its pre-WW1 greatness, blamed the Jews for their mess, and wanted them to be tracked. He promised this would strengthen their national security and economy. How do you not see a parallel?

It's 2016 so I have no fear of Trump pulling a Hitler but the similarities in platforms are absolutely there. The man kept a copy of Mein Kampf under his bed, for crying out loud.

I'm not aware Trump is blaming the jews for anything, let alone wanting them tracked.

I think you are seeing connections where there is none.

"Street Artists" aren't exactly known for their political knowledge.

Hilter was a bum who didn't even have one hot wife much less three. God Emperor Trump is 10 000 times better than most politicians and 100 billion times better than Hitler.

Thank you for posting this.

It's interesting to see how the rest of the world is thinking/feeling about this whole Trump-Circus-Freak-Show thing going on in the US.

... since most of us will end up being indirectly impacted in one way, shape, or form by whom TPTB decide to put on the throne in November.

But what's even more interesting is seeing the sour grapes reactions from all of the so-called 'free speech and liberty' loving folks of ATS whining and complaining about Disinfo.com sharing their thoughts/opinions/feelings about something that doesn't necessarily agree with their own personal ideologies.

Yessiree.... interesting times indeed.
