Well things are not looking good for the Euro at the moment.

The European Central Bank is becoming dangerously over-extended and the whole euro project is unworkable in its current form, the founding architect of the monetary union has warned.
"One day, the house of cards will collapse,” said Professor Otmar Issing, the ECB's first chief economist and a towering figure in the construction of the single currency.

He even says...

Cloaking it all is obfuscation, political mendacity and endemic denial. Leaders of the heavily indebted states have misled their voters with soothing bromides, falsely suggesting that some form of fiscal union or debt mutualisation is just around the corner. Yet there is no chance of political union or the creation of an EU treasury in the foreseeable future, which would in any case require a sweeping change to the German constitution - an impossible proposition in the current political climate. The European project must therefore function as a union of sovereign states, or fail.

It's an informative and interesting read.

They are worried now that the pack of cards will fall and in the meantime have to cover the lost UK subscriptions. Germany's EU bill is likely to rise by 25% according a previous report.

Typical example of the *grass is always greener on the other side of the

There was a time when Corporations, Companies, Banks etc. took responsibility

for themselves ... going through bad times (tightening their economic belts) and

taking any temporary financial hit, and the management actually earned

large salaries. Now they simply expect to get bailed out.

So let them migrate the EU is "whistling in the dark" with all their varying

economies Greece, Spain, Italy ....The German Deutsche Bank is a floundering

Titian.

When they find out the "grass is not greener on the other side" make them pay

penalty charges to return ... and stop bailing them out!! and treating

them like *special snowflakes*

Agree and when the ECB pops they will wish they'd stayed. The pack of cards is about to collapse and when the German and French are told they have to pay another 20-25% into the EU they will begin to question EU project fail!#

The sooner we get out the better!

Thats for sure. Germany are unlikely to hit us with tariffs when they supply the UK a million cars a year.

The EU is in trouble and its only a matter of time before another country's folk want out!

Its all desperation from TPTB. The EU is in trouble and they know that when we leave they wont be able to keep it together and I'm sure there has been intimations made from many quarters behind closed doors! I mean how can the other larger contributors that will have to take on a greater burden of subscriptions justify it to their own citizens? And the EU bubble and its debt which I'm sure is much larger than is made public pops that will be the end of the end!
