I can't believe the amount of achievements she claims for herself that are completely undue.

What else from a pathological liar.

They can't help it.

That had nothing to do with the EPA. Snyder gave a higher costing agreement as a political favor.

EPA knew of the bad quality of water, and informed the local gov't, they failed when they didn't inform the public when the local gov't failed to fix the problem...

IT was governmental red tape, but when you are talking about city water, paid for by the folks... I think they should have done more than they did...

EPA must have agreed since the region EPA boss resigned over this situation...

Sanders needs to take African-American support from Clinton to win.

That might be tough. Black folks loved Bill Clinton, and until Barack, some called Bill the "first black president."
He was a master at blowing smoke up people's asses.

Bernie hit the nail on the head on the number one issue: monetary influences.

Sanders pulled the race card with Flint Michigan?

Yeah, but he did do it effectively. And he came off sounding sincere.

He will. Bernie's been about racial justice and civil rights his entire life.

Sanders pulled the race card with Flint Michigan? Which party runs the local government? which local gov't made the decision to switch from being supplied by Detroit, to using the Flint river? Who's EPA rep was in charge there during who's watch in the Oval Office?

Even better, Jack ... the Imperial Legate put in place by Rick
Snyder to Detroit to oversee the reconstruction.. Kevyn
(I Killed the UAW) Orr. I wonder how bad the decision making
was at all echelons when the substantial savings were just a
tradeoff in lousy public health?

Back to the debate.. I hope we ultimately end up with the
first Disappearing Constituency Barbie. But that would require
awareness... GO Hil! Away is good.

Bernies right, the only way to beat the Republicans is to have him be the Democratic nominee.

No majority in their right mind would vote Hillary in.

The only way to beat the oppressive onslaught of the backwards Republicans is with Bernie.

He can do it!!!

Folks should end up in prison over this deal...

Is there any hope for Michigan? It's like body blow after body blow for those folks living in what once was a shining example of US manufacturing...

Eek I'm a little nervous about this debate, I don't Bernie is gonna get the win on this one. And Chris Matthews gets the post debate... not good. Maybe I was entirely wrong in thinking MSNBC swung toward him or even Rachel Maddow. They never asked him if he would ask Hillary to be his VP. Maybe his I agree with her it's too early to say simply shut it down and I'm being paranoid.

Bernie did very well in the first half, nailed everything but then Hillary nailed everything in the last half. Dishonestly, in my opinion but she did nail the last half.

Hopefully Politifact rips her claims apart.

Any consensus on who won?

I vote Bernie. He looked better tonight than I've ever seen him before. He swayed me a bit. I feel better about supporting him now.

ETA: Of course this is the first debate that I've watched this campaign season. So that might be why.

To stop the Republicans they will unite under the nominee, I think though the people re-infranchised by Bernie and the new blood will pack it up and not vote, but the majority will vote Dem regardless. Me? I'll vote for Jill Stein if Bernie doesn't get the nom.

My opinion doesn't count...but I think Hillary won the second half on points; Bernie the first...but Sanders won the hearts of the viewers.

Bernie did well the first 2/3 of the debate when they were discussing domestic issues... Hillary BSed her way through the Foreign policy section as Bernie seemed to lack the polish when he was setting forth his points..

Not sure there was a winner in the last section...

I am a supporter of neither, but I can guarantee that I will never cast a vote for Hillary, Bush, Rubio & Cruz for that matter...

So including my bias, I would say Sanders helped himself tonight...

You may have unfortunately nailed it E.G. From a wide and
large sample size of my own random conversations with Hil's
most vocal supporters; the majority of them are politically
myopic and won't argue any core issues or her qualifications.
Other than the facts are pointing to her being an undoubtedly
ruthless politician I can't see one reason for her being nominated.

I know Bernie bit back bringing up the two ton tarantula in the
room (Der Shower Server) with the rest. But it makes that
monster's fangs no shorter. Even her most rabid hounds must
feel by now something's wrong in Paradise. Hope they come over.
