MSNBC is hosting a "first" head-to-head debate between Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton.

They are two finalists (as of now) for the Democrat nomination for President.

It's happening at 9pm EST at the University of New Hampshire.

Bernie needs to be strong and somehow deflect Hillary's side shows.

Bernie is ahead in the polls for the N.H. primaries next week.

He needs to talk "ahead" of that probable victory as he faces a massive onslaught of Hillary support in upcoming primaries soon.

Can he do it?

Can he place Hillary outside her comfort zone effectively?

The issues are clear but we shall see if MSNBC "allows" anything other than the usual generalizations.

Who does MSNBC favor do you think?

First Read: A Party Divided Going Into Tonight's Debate

DURHAM, NH -- Tonight's Democratic debate -- the first one-on-one showdown between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders -- comes 1) after the thisclose race in Iowa, 2) five days before Tuesday's New Hampshire primary, and 3) as the party appears more divided than at any point during the Obama Era.

Who is a progressive? (Sanders yesterday charged that anyone who takes money from Wall Street and has a Super PAC doesn't meet the standard, while Clinton replied that Sanders' purity test would disqualify many in her party.)

Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders ratchet up attacks before debate 2:23

Who is the *real* Democrat in this race? (Clinton has listed her long time working for the party, while Sanders has never associated with it until now.)

Sanders needs to be strong !!!

I saw a DNC drinking game.

Whenever either one starts talking about a "free" government program, you get to drink someone else's drink.

I might tune in just to see them try to be more "progressive" than the other.

That's like taking a drink during any speech from a Republican any time they mention God, terrorism, Democrats, and Obama.

It doesn't take long to get hammered.

Is it me or has MSNBC flipped Sanders? Or is it just because they're in NH?
