It would not surprise me if the naked guy eating that other guy on CCTV in Florida some years ago was a live Defense Department experiment. In other words, they indirectly showed the world how they now have the chemical to make the film '28 Days Later' become reality.

Buy a shed, a TV, some cool headphones and a padlock then watch whatever you wanna watch in peace.

You say you have had problems before, that doesn't just "go away".. even if you think it does.

With that in mind.. the question that needs to be asked is do they know, even when not in the room, when you are watching paranormal programming?

Is there a shift at those times, In the house, that they can feel but cannot explain.

A "wrong" or dreadful feeling.

not a lot of ppl can express that properly.. it normally sounds like what you were told.

You have a duty of care to those around you when you drag negative weight around. it spills out onto others, normally those closest.. it finds the weak points and exploits them for more misery/energy.

Or you can take the advice of those here that know little (or too much)... and keep going... even escalate the situation...

I agree mostly with what you're saying... one thing I will say is I don't like it when a horror TV Show, Movie, or Radio/Podcast speaks things in different ancient languages in my house that I don't understand or know what they're saying. It makes me uneasy. I always hope it's just made up to sound cool. But what if it's ancient Greek or whatever calling on and inviting things into the home?

No class tonight.... I am going to bed but thought I would inform you that possession and obsession comes through the eyes, for the most part. Watching scary movies can cause some to be shocked or scared and at that time is when your self-defenses are dropped and anything standing nearby or that can come through the TV can enter you or manipulate you. This is the reason for not watching X rated scary movies and pornos this would also include modern R rated movies due to special effects. Normally they attack through nightmares while asleep but there are others that are more powerful and can drag you around the room and bang you off the walls.

If you want to watch these movies go ahead.... knock yourself out or maybe something else will knock you out.

I've a great idea.

Get rid of all technology from the house so that they know you're not accessing and viewing this stuff, but set up elaborate pranks and scares - wires and pulley systems, hide their belongings and put them in odd places.

Have conversations with them then later, flat out deny such conversations took place. Take every opportunity you get to leave a trace of apparently unholy symbollogy, turn crosses upside down and all that.

Soon you'll convince them that watching these ghost porn was somehow protecting you from all this, point out that it all started shortly after you stopped wtching this filth!

If that fails...I'd just go with the "shut up, you're not my real mum!" stuff, play the stroppy, ignorant and downright selfish role of a teenager and cry about how nobody understand you.

Hidden option 3 is to simply exercise your rights as a human being, stand up for yourself and refuse to be dictated to by someone who clearly has issues.

I also wanted to add - I've gone through periods in my life where I developed an interest in such things.I watched loads of creepy videos, read books and all of that.

There was never any increase of paranormal activity, there never was any activity either before, during or after.

I'm not saying I don't believe in such things, but to me it's clear that having spent many a wee hour researching this kinda stuff for S***s'n'giggles that it doesn't necessarily attract anything.

What I will say is I sometimes creeped myself out with this stuff that I became hyper aware...and in that state of mind it's easy to see how you can start to see and hear things in quite an exaggerated and often illogical way.

One such incident involving a tapping sound that was plumbing related in an old house I lived in. This was a problem from day 1, achnowledged and identified as a long stretch of pipe that wasn't secured very well, thus would sometimes vibrate and make weird noises. This was an irritation...but if it was dark and I was watching or reading something creepy...and that noise started, rationality disappeared. I still knew what it was...but was it merely the result of shoddy plumbing?

Maybe a demon was rattling that pipe just to annoy me the whole time...and here's me assuming there was a rational explanation the whole time...lying to myself! I knew all along that it was demonic activity...best turn the lights on now and sit up...watch perdiepie to take my mind off the multiple instances of paranormal activity that my inferior mind normally tries to rationalise through reason and logic.

On the flip side if the pipe rattled and I were watching say, a comedy program or somethin interesting but not paranormal related...I'd simply turn the volume up to drown out the nuisance noise and think nothing more of it.

So they must be exorcized, by five hours of Barry Manalo per day. You must wear a Barry T shirt. After a week their minds will be mush, and think that you are an angel sent to guide them. Then you can have control of the remote control.

I'm actually quite schocked at the number of people advising you to continue in secrecy and hide it from your wife.

I don't think being deceitful is the solution to this problem, if watching some videos is so bad...just imagine...

You started off watching cursed videos on youtube, tempted by the dark side were you.

Continued dabbling in the dark arts, trying to conceal it from the Jedi council, it will only result in you being accused of having been posessed when they learn about your deceit.

If you lie to them, I wouldn't be surprised to wake up one night with mother in law looming over you, you strapped t the bed and being read various holy tripe.

Lying to them will, in all probablility, convince them that you have been influenced and captivated by this unholiness. I reckon honesty is the best policy here...you either tell them to grow up and deal with it or you make the sacrifice and stop researching and taking an interest in this stuff.

Will they relent if you refuse to pander? Will it potentially break up your relationship with your fair lady? Which is more important? What you think they'll do if you simply refuse to stop watching this stuff?

I don't know many devoit christians...I kow loads of fake ones who like the fun stuff like christmas and easter but skip the inconvenient parts and all that so I can't really imagine people taking this stuff so serious that it could potentially result in a failed relationship...I mean, in the grand scheme it's all a bit silly, really.

Anyway - this is my 3rd comment on this thread so I feel the need to flag it. A fun and interesting read, most grateful.

lets now play the game

ok - the op accedes and desists from watching scary movies

what then ?

as i dont accept the premise that scary movies attract demons i predict that the banning of scary movies will not assuage the crazy mother in law or diminish her paranoia of " demons "

thus , i can forsee an escalation wherein - the crazy mother in law makes escalates her demands to do thinks to " prevent demons "

today - its no scary movies - tommorrow its no movies at all - next week - no radio either , next month .....................

I suppose you have a point...you're most likely right.

I'd say divorce might be the only option.

In a way... thinking a lot about paranormal things can cause you to "witness" things. Did you ever wonder why most (not all, but most) of the people who believe in supernatural things are more likely to witness some supernatural event than a non-believer? (In this case, I mean pre-existing belief prior to witnessing an event.)


If you look for a pattern, you'll see a pattern. Like people who believe that 11.11 is a lucky number or whatever - they're more prone to noticing when a clock says 11.11 than someone who doesn't care or doesn't know about it.

For example I knew someone who developed an intense interest in demons. You know, like the demons of the Goetia and that. Because he'd been spending so much time thinking about demons, he started to worry that he'd inadvertently summoned a demon just by thinking about him. But, nothing actually showed up. It was just that he'd been spending all this time focusing on these demons.

Do I make sense? I hope I do; English isn't my first language and sometimes my phrasing is a bit off.

I mean that there is a psychological component at play here. And hey, some people are superstitious and that, bless 'em. If it worries them, maybe just watch your ghosty movies by yourself, I mean at least it shuts them up and negates conflict. Otherwise, it might make them start thinking about ghosts, then they'll see a ghost because they expect to see one, and so on it goes.

It's the laugh at the crazy folks and further the hate/misery forum.

I suppose i should "take my meds now".. because i believe in more than the TV tells me.. because i've actually had paranormal problems and i know what im talking about... at least.. until i read just how silly i was in this forum i thought i did...

How mistaken i was... I'm such a fool... lets all just be assholes to one another and make the world a better.. more understanding place to live... no harm will come of it.. as there's nothing more than the self.

Someone needs to explain to everyone that comes to this part of the site what it's all really about..
