Can someone explain this object in a video from the ISS?

It comes into focus around 15 secs. I told a friend I would ask so 1 came to ATS.

Looks like an M Class 7844 from Andromeda, circa 11,000 bbccev.

Could be wrong though...

If you mean the round thing, it looks like a washer that's reflecting light. I have no idea.

Most likely it is the Sun.
I notice that the uploader has manipulated the still shots to make it appear as if it reverses direction. You can tell this by the movement of the cloud formations. Hoax.

Much appreciated Phage didn't want to call your name out but you are looked at for cosmic advice at times on ATS, thanks...

Here's a screenshot. It does look like the Sun's light, and the ring effect could be some kind of wacky occulter or just camera overload, but if it was an object, it would be very close, between the window and the solar packs. Mind you I haven't seem similar before.
As a POI, the ISS is over this part of the world in the early AM at the moment.

Some full motion video would be a help, pages back and forth, not really.

Something I did forget to mention this screen capture is the brightest element shown, it also happens that the Earth background is also at it's brightest, so it's either our Sun, or another one passing by.....

People can't recognise our own Sun anymore... what's the world come to?

That's fair and reasonable comment, there are also others that don't bust themselves too much.

After viewing your image of SOL and the ISS and the video a question arises. Why is the LIGHT body not blocked at all by the solar panel like equipment if it is located behind the panel like equipment.

Because as 1 observes it appears to shine as if in front of it?

Is 1 seeing things or is the light reflecting from the object as if in front of the panels and not behind?

It remains important to keep a weather eye open for unusual stuff that could signal danger -- or even more importance.

I only see the Sun and some lens flares from it?

The 'lobed' appearance is most probably due to the scattering interference you get from objects close to the path of the light rays, like the light passing through a gap in solar panels, or the 'spider' that holds the angled secondary mirror in a reflector telescope.

The movement could be due to rotation of the camera, station or due to editing.

Nothing out of the ordinary that I can see. Perhaps I missed it?

@ :33 to approx :37 is the Sun reflecting from behind? Infront? or between the panel equipment?
