Major blue "fireball" over Copenhagen lighting up the whole sky

I saw a "shooting star" over Los Angeles at around 1030 maybe 1100 pst. Not quite as bright as you are discribing but it was blue, and it was fast.

I'm curious, was the asteroid visible on the night sky sometime Friday/Saturday night (like 2am EST Saturday)?

I remember starring out the window and seeing a strange bluish light in the sky. Was moving moving too!

It wasn't a plane, eventually saw that it was too slow to be a satellite.

It would make sense & be cool if it was the asteroid!

yes i could see a skull face in that pic. Very spooky indeed. Maybe warning of something to come.

I've seen something similar before but was green. Maybe copper in the meteorite?

This might be of interest www.amsmeteors.org... suggests that the Blue might mean it has a heavy magnesium content.

I know it's paradolia (sp) but that pic in your link totally looks like a skull face.

Yes. Maybe it shoots out those fireballs from those sockets I'm thinking Zardoz for some reason.
