Woman live-streams herself while 'drunk' driving

Thankfully the police were able to locate her and arrest her before something more tragic could occur...

A Florida woman used a live streaming app on her phone to record herself while drunk driving on Saturday, according to police.

Lakeland police received 911 calls about a possible drunk driver who was using the social media app Periscope to broadcast her illegal joy ride to the masses on Saturday.

This bit of news did remind me of a comedian from a few years back...

Seriously what in seven hells was she thinking.

Sure most people have made mistakes when they're drunk, but this is on a whole other level.
Such reckless disregard for others is something I'm not sure can be forgiven. This sort of behaviour makes me so angry.

I have friends that are 911 operators.

Some of the stories they tell.

"We hear it buzzing. But we don't see it."

Wish the report would've carried the broadcast up through her getting pulled over.

That would've made it just a little bit better in my opinion.

I don't think the penalties or charges are hard enough for drink driving.

If you are really drunk and driving a car you are basically driving around in a 1 tonne weapon.

You wouldn't trust a wasted person with an assault rifle, its the same thing.
