Rush Limburgh: Water on Mars a NASA lie to advance leftist agenda!!

It's all a plot:

OK, flowing water on Mars. If we're even to believe that, what are they going to tell us that means? That's what I'm going to wait for. Because I guarantee, let's just wait and see, this is September 28, let's just wait and see. Don't know how long it's going to take, but this news that there is flowing water on Mars is somehow going to find its way into a technique to advance the leftist agenda. I don't know what it is, I would assume it would be something to do with global warming and you can -- maybe there was once an advanced civilization. If they say they found flowing water, next they're going to find a graveyard.

To put a bit of analysis round what he said:

On his radio program Monday, Rush Limbaugh claimed that NASA’s announcement of the discovery of flowing water on Mars is part of some larger plan by the Obama administration “to advance the leftist agenda.”

He admitted that he doesn’t “know what it is, I would assume it would be something to do with global warming,” speculating that NASA would “find a graveyard” from “an advanced civilization” that crumbled because of climate change.

The reason for what can best be called his unhealthy skepticism is that “NASA has been corrupted by the current regime.”

When they find that graveyard he's gonna have conniptions!!

What does global warming have to do with Mars?
Mars lost it's magnetic field and had it's atmosphere ripped away by huge meteor impacts.
NASA knows this.

Oh, wait, sorry...is the purpose of this thread to discuss actual scientific fact...or to oportunistically take shots at some conservative radio guy.

If there is flowing water on mars the global warming crowd Has to rethink their so called 'science'.

TOTALLY different environmental factors exist on Mars compared to Earth.
