I haven't seen a forum or discussion board anywhere, supposedly about these kinds of topics, that isn't infested with exactly the kinds that you'd think wouldn't be using such forums.

The internet / web used to be a cool place, back in the late 90s / early 00s. Then it got ruined by the same stats takers, commercialists, capitalists, census taking name-and-numbering sign up with your email and a static username thanyouverymuchy stuff, that has ruined being a soul incarnate in a body in this crummy reality also.

As others have stated it's not the nutrient content that's the problem. The problem is the horrific effects of modern pesticides. The mineral leaching glyphosates, like roundup cause cancer among other health problems. I don't want that crap in my food.

When the water supply that feeds 'organic' food is corrupted with Sodium Fluoride - it ceases to be organic. Truly organic food needs to be grown in soil that is not irradiated or corrupted with the debris of chemtrails. The Sodium Fluoride is absorbed by the plant as it grows - it has no choice.

Those who understand that the Sodium Fluoride is absorbed by the plant as it grows know that this is dose number one - then if you boil or heat the food in any manner - with water that contains Sodium Fluoride - that becomes dose number two.

Truly organic food can only be achieved by watering it with uncorrupted water, in an atmosphere that does not permit chemtrails or any other toxins. Organic food is a marketing term - at least those who choose to purchase it are using their literal thinking cognition.

So much is corrupted in this world. Positive change is needed particularly with regard to our foodstuffs.

Much Peace - as we work our way through the chaos and pain with dignity and respect - Amanda

This is a huge problem. Our chemical farming schemes coupled with the poisoning of the water supply with fluoride has contaminated the soil. Unfortunately some otherwise highly beneficial plants, like tea, especially green tea are rife with toxic amounts of fluoride.

Most tea, even the organic variety is sourced from China and is riddled with fluorides. It's a disaster.

Seven Thunders - You are exactly right. Whenever I have this type of conversation with people - the end result is that a person can only make the best possible decision about what is available. I am currently looking at the 'numbers' that are used with food processing and I am horrified.

Make the best possible choices - with what is available is all we really have at present. I guess fresh fruit and vegetables are still the best option.

I take a specific selection of vitamins and minerals. I swear by Ascorbic Acid - it is incredibly beneficial to our health.

Much Peace - Amanda

Yup vitamin C is a great antioxidant. Unfortunately, since I have kidney stones I have to be careful with it since your body can use it generate oxalates.

Food processing is bad enough but there are so many other pitfalls. For example, are you moving to a rural area to avoid air pollution? Great, keep in mind the high cancer rates and birth defects for people who live near farms that use pesticides and glyphosphates.

It's truly a quagmire out there, but it is possible to greatly improve your outcomes with exercise, sleep, clean food and beneficial nutraceuticals.

God Bless you too Amanda.

I agree... we can only make choices best for us with what is available. Soo... the less chemicals the better... is the bottom line.... not easy to do. Nevertheless ,, a good rule to follow

It's about time that this whole organic BS got exposed. I was always suspicious about it, especially when so many people immediately jumped on the ban wagon, that is always a sign of top notch BS.

Hey dude I don't know if you've ever been a high performance athlete but I can tell you first hand higher quality food is better 100%.

You can use whatever logic you want but 100% notice a difference in my performance when I eat the better food.

Also I think you should put some effort into researching the effects of the flora in your stomac on immune system and brain activity for a better perspective.

Agree with this 100%
As a body builder, a striped MMA professional and a master licensed nutritionist I have to say that the cleaner the food the better your overall performance and athletic ability. It comes down to reading your nutritional labels, and not just skimming the ingredients, really reading the entire label. If something has more than a few simple ingredients I don't even bother to buy it. This is why I like some of the smaller markets in my area. They are more expensive but as a consumer I'm provided with all information including how and when a product was farmed and raised. In some cases they even provide the source seed information.

The word "Organic food" is misleading, because obviously every food is made of organic material. Unless somebody likes to eat metals or stones ...

Nonetheless, some restaurants offer really tasty and pleasant food which for whatever reason they call "organic".
One of such delicacies I tried is similar to this:
lh6.ggpht.com...

Somebody though, is trying to make conspiracy theories even out of those ...
Now who could be such conspiracy theorists?
I have even have a couple of possible names. Was it Ronald Plasterk ? was it ... maybe Arsen "The Arson" Avakov ?

That's true. All this nonsense with those labels. If it's there - doesn't mean it's true.
