Yes, look around you. Everyone that has ever watched Bugs Bunny (from 1940), Snagglepuss (from 1959), Pink Panther (from 1963), Yogi Bear (from 1961) and Sesame Street (from 1969) turned gay. Every single one of them poor kids. Gay and satanic.

Yes, you are right. Media did play a role to help people understand that homosexuals are just people like everyone else.

You see for years gays had to hide in closets - scared of being persecuted or being chased by a lynch mob... So Average Joe and Jane didn't really have much interactions with "them gays". They heard the preacher talk about "them gays", and the preacher said they were bad, so they were bad - no questions asked (we can circle back to this point and social programming late, if you want to).
But then some brave writer in Hollywood wrote a gay character into a TV series...

"Come look Ma! There's one of them gays on the television!"
"Oh Joe... That's awful. Turn it off! It's the devil's work!"
"No wait Ma. I want to see what the nancy boy does."
"Oh look at his hair, Joe. Those aren't the hair a man should be wearing. And look at his wrist! It's the devil's wrist!"
"Look Ma. Now he's eating cereal. And now he's drink orange juice! We drink orange juice! It's the Devil's juice!"

And as time went by, Joe and Jane became used to seeing the gay man in their favorite show. Over time they learned that the gay character ate and drank just like them. He had problems, just like everyone else. And boom, one day there were gays everywhere. Gays in all the TV programs; in the movies. Some singers like that Elton John poof suddenly turned gay... Sneaky Hollywood!

Yes, the media actually had the audacity to show gay people as normal people. And for the first time in their tiny, bubbled lives Joe and Jane had exposure to gay people. And most Joes and most Janes realized that gays were not the devil's children like the preacher described them. As a matter of fact they were nothing like the preacher described them...

I'm sure 50, 60 years ago, there was a grumpy old man sitting at the table saying:
"This radio machine is telling our kids that them blacks are just as human as us whites. This is the devil's work I tell you!"
I'm sure people were just as concerned about "social programming" when Bob Howard was on TV... The TV networks actually dared to portray black people as regular, normal people. As equals... The shock and horror it must've caused...

But I digress. You are worried that TV shows are turning kids gay. I'm just curious, what do you think turned all the kids gay over the millennia in all societies? Hundreds; thousands of years ago?
Papyrus talking about gay people? Stone tablets talking about some girl on girl action? Smoke signals describing the sexual acts between two men? The sounds of drums echoing through the night, telling the story about the tribesman that wore a dress today?
It's been said a million times: Homosexuality has been with us forever. Throughout history. There aren't homos suddenly popping out with jazz hands because of Glee. No. The same amount of gay people as ever (proportionately), but people are simply more willing to finally come out of the closet, so they just seem more.
And make no msitake. This is not happening everywhere, because in some US states you can still lose your job because you're gay. In some countries you can still end up in jail or even dead, because you're gay.

So, you think "Oh Nooooo! The gays are winning!" because the media is happy to show gay couples? Well, you're dead wrong. There are still thousands and thousands of men and women across the world that have to hide who they really are out of fear. There are those that dare to love - put live in constant fear of being discovered, dragged out of town and being stoned to death. There are still thousands of teenagers killing themselves because of the pain caused by intolerant bullies at school.

If you want to worry about doctrines or programming - you should worry about those ideas parents force on their children. There is no stronger brainwashing tool than the thoughts and ideas imposed by a parent on a child. Parents hatefully tell their kids how evil gays/blacks/Mexicans/Republicans are, and no amount of watching the Pink Panther could ever undo that damage. The circle of hate is what's wrong with our society. In my opinion it's a bigger problem than the utter crap they try to shove down our throats on TV. At least I can change the channel or switch it off. What can I do about bad parenting?

You are straight, right? Well, I've got a challenge for you. Choose ANY TV show you consider gay or contains "gay social programming" - I don't know - Glee? Will & Grace? I'm sure you have some ideas... Watch that show for an entire weekend. And when you're done tell us whether you feel like kissing a guy. Or even if you feel like having anal sex with a guy. Or even if you feel less negative towards homosexuality. You can do it very scientifically by watching an episode of the TV show, and then looking at a picture of, say, Taylor Lautner or George Clooney, between every episode. If the test subject guy becomes more attractive between every episode, then we may be on to something. (You can even go hardcore and watch male gay porn for an entire weekend to find out what that does for you or whether it "turns" you - gay, not on.)

If you turn gay because of the experiment, I will very publicly admit that I was very wrong and that TV can turn someone gay. And I'll even sponsor a quick maker-over to reveal the fabulous you. We'll then send you to Bible camp for some deprogramming? You game?

I actually had no idea until I created this thread. I'm shocked, In my eyes I'm witnessing what the bible warned about. I feel privileged to live in such a significant time.

To me that is the word of God, not a fairy tale. Maybe some has been altered, but I do not care, they way we ought to live is already present in our soul from day one. The parts of the Bible that resonate with me make perfect kind common sense, no hate. Even if it was all made up, it is a guide on how to be a good person, and find true happiness. wtf is wrong with that?

the guide is my own personal tool, I don't try to bring it up to others, it's not my place. were not supposed to conform people, I have zero desire to do so, were supposed to just be kind and giving, and brave, represent Christs values. Sadly not many get that anymore and many "Christians" are not. They just want the status so they can feel self righteous.

Were supposed to be the light, I completely understand the animosity Christianity has produced, that's because these supposed Christians who tarnished the name were just idiots that don't actually follow the commandments.

This has already been proven to be the case in many transgender
