Everybody is closing borders in EU but Serbia keeps taking in refugees

After cooking up the situation in Syria, making situation uncontrollable, now every EU nation plays stupid

Refugees are coming and only Greece and Serbia are showing good will.

I was surprised, coming from war opposed Croatia, that Serbs are going to show so much heart and help to poor refugees.
But they did
And they don't stop to help.

Serbs have shown true heart.
So my applause to them

Now EU media machine starts rolling in Croatia, my country, making fear - evil refugees campaign.
But we are ready to accept refugees. I hope we also won't be b*tches like the rest of "fine" nations building walls and cosing borders
I hope we'll help like refugees deserve.
I still remember our war refugees. Only then you can imagine sh*t these people went trough.

I didn't believe I would ever say this but:

Serbia and Serbian people - you have my RESPECT

It's a friggin shame, and Censormany started this new development. What are the refugees supposed to do now? "F*** the EU" Nuland said, I say our politicians already started doing so years ago. Now it's time to collect their mad seeds. History tends to repeat itself:

Rome’s border walls were the beginning of its end.

ngm.nationalgeographic.com...

And cheers to Serbia, at least some people hold up to european values.

All Serbia is doing is letting them pass through to the Countries they actually want to live in (and who will have to bear the expense and chaos).

Why is that so applause worthy?

Because others started to close their borders. You didn't catch the Rome-drift, did you?

Anyway, I'm a not so proud German right now. We would have to take 20 mil. refugees if we were up to take the Lebanon as an example of how many people one country could possibly host. They are 4,5 mil. people there and took a million refugees.

Digest that. Chaos and expenses, eh? Ridiculous. Humanity is nothing you should try to put price-tags on.

Sorry, but that is naive in the extreme.

Germany, and every other nation who tries to shoulder this unsupportable burden, will buckle from the pressure and the weight. They simply do not have the resources (no nation does) to try to take within their borders all of the displaced, poor, distressed or destitute people in the world.

If they even attempt to do so, they will no longer be in a position to help anybody, including their own original citizens.

Letting these people in (as, for America, letting all of the poor people from Mexico and Central America in) is a recipe for disaster - for everybody.

Not if we would tax the ultra-rich to get a few bucks extra to help fellow human beings. You think in a status-quo mentality, which obviously lacks any progressive effort to solve problems. Hence you decided to be a part of it. Doom-pornish fearmongery? So what, I don't care! All you have to offer is some outlandish hyperbole while calling a decent take on european values naive.

Recipe for desaster? I call it "War on Terror". Move on, nothing to see here.

Even Serbia, who knows the immigrants only want to pass through its country, knows they will go to the guilty Western countries that deserve the immigrants they created...

Tax the ultra rich to get "a few extra bucks"...yeah that'll solve the problem - for about a year.

Let's try a little math exercise here. If, on average, a person needs $20,000/year to survive...and Germany took in 20 million of these people (as you suggested would make you feel that Germany is doing its part)...in the first year you would need to tax your rich about $40 billion more than they are taxed now.

In the second year, all of your ultra-rich would have moved somewhere else...so your next move would be to...what?

Get back to me, with your "progressive" ideals, when the poor hapless migrants that you have encouraged Germany to take, are pounding on your door and insisting that you give over all of your food to feed their family...or else.

Don't think it will happen? Check out some of the videos of these "migrants" attacking well-meaning people who tried to deliver some food and supplies to them. The look of shock on their faces will, I am sure, be mirrored by your experience if progressives like yourself have their way.

Let's just agree to disagree, shall we?

Why are no rich Arab countries taking in refugees?

Why the mass migration to Europe?

NPR

For Syrian refugees, trying to find safety and building a new life in the one of the wealthy Arab Gulf states would seem logical: no harrowing sea journeys, and a familiar language, religion and culture

The U.N. refugee agency and Amnesty International say that none of the Arab Gulf states — including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates — have settled Syrians looking to escape the war.

Just like the Arab states do NOTHING to help the Palestinians.

But if any Western state dares to control the flood of 'refugees' they are inhuman "bitches".

Love the double standards.

No, Serbia has been allowing the migrants to transit them right from the very beginning. Serbia is doing nothing worthy of any praise.

Hate America do we?

No need to ask about Israel.

Just a quick question...

Is Russia helping refugees, because the regime they are backing is also responsible for those refugees from Syria?

Serbia is just looking out for It's own best future survival... the mass migration of Muslims into East-&-west Europe

.....Serbia was on track to increase their Muslim population by less than 2% by 2030...
but with this open arms policy I think that Serbia/Croatia/Bosnia/Kosovo/Macedonia/Romania/Bulgaria will also get the undesired overflows of fleeing Muslims running away from the fanatical Jihadists who want to kill Muslim Apostates along with Jews and Christians back in their former homeland..
see map: search.yahoo.com...;_ylt=Aus7tKM.UPN5SAnUswkRKZCbvZx4?fr=yfp-t-901-s&toggle=1&fp=1&cop=mss&ei=UTF-8&p=serbia%20location%20on%20map

www.theguardian.com...
(see Serbia: #177 on list)

now, after a goodly portion of moderate and/or modern thinking & practicing Muslims have fled their homelands...

There will be far, far less chance of the modern world forces that are fighting IS and other radical groups to be inflicting unwanted 'collateral damage ' upon the innocent Muslims in the Levant, Middle East regions....

Ergo.... bombs-away !
the "force restrainer" has been removed from the equasion of ridding the world of the doomsday, Jihadists who rape-pillage-plunder the unarmed civilians

Yea but, when the M.E. countries have been made safe for them will they return to their own countries like proper refugees would do? I think not. In the little time they have in their host countries they will have at least one child with the host country giving the child their nationality. Ergo, job done the wont be repatriated so easily as they'll claim that they can't be repatriated because their new child is not their parents nationality and it would be wrong or even dangerous to send them back.
I'll say again, THE MAJORITY OF THESE "REFUGEES" ARE NOT REFUGEES THEY ARE ECONOMIC MIGRANT just using the situation to their advantage.

You all seem to ignore that they are not only Syrians but also illegals from Afghanistan, Pakistan and who knows from where else...

All without any papers at all, in Eu they can be whatever they claim to be,
With so much unemployment and the middle of a wide economic crisis,
20 million immigrants will live on welfare, will be given homes, jobs, accepted in universities and ''steal'' resources from the countries they'll live in.

Maybe that was the plan, first bring Europe on it's knees and then bring the solution, whatever that may be.

Yes, and the kill comes when their host country wants to send them back to their own safe country and they wont want to go. How can any country repatriate or deport anybody if they don't know which country they are from?
THAT'S the reason they are getting rid of their papers. That also tells any sane person that they are not refugees and have already made the decision to stay in whatever country they can get in.

Ask yourself, why is it that shiite/alawite regime and leaders in the middle east have to go.
Why is it that qaradawi, a spiritual leader from qater announced a fatwa against Muammar gaddafi.
Why is it that the gulf states simply kill the protesters and get away with it while countries like Libya and Syria are attacked because protesters were killed during riots.
Why are the gulf states funding these extremists, why has Turkey been a passageway for extremists from all over the world who went to Syria to fight for ISIS and why did Turkey deliver weapons, as they do in Libya because the extremists there are backed by Turkey too.
How convenient that all the bombs fell on the kurds that were fighting ISIS, was this perhaps done on purpose?
How can it be that the vinger is pointed to the west of Europe while clearly the US, the gulf states and Turkey are training, supplying and funding the extremists in Syria.
Yes, France and england have helped in the fight against Muammar Gadaffi, but it saved lives because it was over fast.
The other option is no intervention, the result of not intervening can be seen in Syria.
A prolonged war backed by wahabi sunni islam.
Would this perhaps have something to do with the petrodollar? the agreement between the gulf states and the US?
Weapons and protection in exchange for oil sales in dollars to prop op the value of the dollar.
Is this why the US is turning a blind eye to the gulf states, why they are such good allies?
Saddam made a pretty dumb mistake to invade kuwait back in the nineties, surely he must have known about the agreement between the US and the gulf states.

It isn't. It's an extremely irresponsible thing to do, and naive, to say the least, to suggest otherwise.
A conspiratorially-minded person might even say that they are doing it on purpose - in cahoots with Russia? - to destabilize the EU.
Luckily I am not one.
