Any vitriol I display in these discussions is directed toward those who deliberately misinterpret or misrepresent the text and intent of the 14th amendment. Namely politicians, lawyers, and a few disingenuous members here.

My friend told me that he didn't see the term "anchor baby" as a racist remark up until people started using it offensively, as in, "you effin anchor baby go back to your country!" It is then that the term turns racist..
