If Im not putting this in the correct forum please move. Thanks!

Does anyone know anything about this site? www.behindthestarmovie.com...

My son came home from school stating he saw this site pictured as an advertisement on Tinder. On the pic from it also says September but on the site there isn't any reference to September!

It's a site that says nothing but how many people are there with a star and city in the background.

It is puzzling to me because there is nothing on the web regarding this movie.

Which city is this?

Why isn't the movie being advertised or have I missed the ads?

Things have to make sense... this doesn't make any sense to me what so ever. I know we have looked at weird sites before which is the reason I am bringing it here so you smart ATS'ers can figure it out.

Help me make sense.... if it is easy breezy, so be it.

With all the Sept. hype going around the forum I figured you could also get a snap shot from Tinder if anyone is on the dating site.

If my son gets back soon I will get him to send it to me so I can show you guys the picture he showed me which again, had September on it.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Weird, I didn't see anything on IMDB about it...

It's rated PG-13, whatever it is ... so I assume it's a movie.

I am guessing it is a viral campaign.
Now I am sure it is a viral campaign, 926 tweets and only 8 you can actually see? That stinks of deleting tweets.
Hmmm.
Anyway, interesting for a minute.
Clickbait is clickbait.

On their Facebook, it says "superhero redefined" so it's probably a superhero movie.

I'm sure this is nothing relevant at all, but the image at your link made me think of that American Indian 'end times scenario' about the 'return' (I think) of the "Blue Star Kachina"...

And in 'September' yet!

That's not it. That listing is for a TV show that aired briefly in 2008.

because the account was created in 2011.

domain registered via proxy, website hosted on amazon, nothing special on facebook and instagram either, i guess people will have to wait.

unless someone matches this campaign with some movie known to be released in september, but at first glance nothing fits.

Yes, I thought that it was hinky to use the vernacular.
Hinky is as hinky does I guess.

I should be clear, I am not saying that the thing is hinky, nor anything of the type.
Rather that the method for promotion, ahem, is suspect.

some less known movie perhaps, with smaller budged/nonexistent marketing campaign so far.

i see no point in creating viral campaign for bigger title with huge marketing budget - at least not such half-assed viral campaign.

I wonder is it is based on

Behind the Stars by Leigh Talbert Moore

Description of series:

Prentiss Puckett is certain of three things:
-Graduation is two weeks away.
-Summer only gets hotter in south Mississippi.
-She's getting a job with air-conditioning.

She did not expect to be kidnapped walking to work.
And she never expected to become a hero.

Red Dawn meets LOST in this action-adventure/paranormal romance from Amazon bestselling author Leigh Talbert Moore.

A viral internet campaign can easily take the place/be more effective than a fully funded hollywood advertising campaign, I mean even peeps who are not in the business of selling their souls know this, right?
