This is not good....it could be that he was the target and everyone else was collateral damage;or this could be related to the anniversary of the slave revolt...Either way we are talking about a STATE SENATOR being shot..im not an expert but i doubt this happens often

Again, confirmation from sources, Senator Pinckney and his sister are both dead. My prayers to their loved ones.

Unconfirmed report that all victims taken to MUSC are all dead, there are no survivors in the ER.

ETA: It could mean that anyone who was only slightly wounded was taken care of and moved. But unconfirmed report that there are no shooting victims in the ER being worked on.

That's f'd up, didn't want to hear that. My heart goes out to the family and friends of the victims. Senseless tragedy.

I just edited the OP stating that Senator Clementa Pinckney has been shot and killed.

Update: There may be 1 female victim being worked on in the ED.

It's very difficult to get much information.

Prayer vigil has vowed to stay all night until they find the shooter.

I'm not seeing anymore info on the bomb threats.....

I did read a 5 year old was at the scene, hid but was later scene covered in blood...I don't know what her condition is....

I really wanna see this unfold,or at least the perpatrator caught but i have a long day tomorrow and need my 4hours sleep.I'll pick it up tomorrow.
Once again my prayers to the families afflicted and my condolences to South Carolina

They should have just killed the b*stard. There is enough social tension in this country as it is. We don't need worthless scumbags like this adding on to it and then getting out unscathed. Just outright killing him could have possibly saved other lives in the future (retaliatory crimes etc.)

The sh*t just keeps piling up.....
