504 error ATS down ?

ATS went down, it was on their servers...

but it appears to be completely back up and again and working..

I went and looked on NORSE site and noticed that they are doing heavy attack on St. Louis. Thought that was interesting.

Yonkers huh.....know the place. Optimum is the company.....cable internet, telephony, and TV.

They dont share hot spots so each modem is registered to a fixed address with a registered user.


EDIT TO ADD:
They do have free wifi hot spots for registered users, so unless someone stole the login credentials you would hit the actual address or at the very least optimum can find out who used it and the device would be registered with them or have been added to the account if stolen.

Geesh! I didn't know how often I frequented ATS until I realized it was down earlier this evening on my lunch hour and all I wanted was to do some reading! hahaha

It was down here in the UK for a while last night, just incase anyone thought it was area specific. This site confirmed it. Perhaps a disgruntled ex member did it on purpose? It was annoying. Isn't there something the server can do that prevents such actions from access?

Usually the 503 and 504 errors are the ISPs or host's gateway and nothing to do with the ATS servers. It looked almost like something happened to the routing tables. Glad it is back up .

Here it started as 504, then 503 then 502, perhaps as the situation was becoming clearer the server situation evolved.

probably admins temporarily changing the routing using add route , delete route. At was back up here again last night.Slow though.
