I refused to vote in 2008. And I refused in 2012. I won't vote for anyone but Ron/Rand Paul. I don't want my vote going to a criminal, more of the same, and the GOP refuses to allow Libertarians to get a foot hold in the party. Do they honestly think people are going to vote for another Bush?

The only other people I'd consider voting for is Donald Trump or Ben Carson. But I'm not going to play these Republican games. No more 9 9 9. We need strong leadership and a candidate that puts America and our constitution first.

With that said, I won't even look at a Democrat. Liberty and the Democratic party don't work together. I've had enough with the race card, sex card, social conditioning, Johnny has 2 mommies, bla bla bla. Take your socialism and shove it, honestly. You want to live in a Fascist dictatorship there are plenty of 3rd world hell holes to choose from. Take your social engineering and go. American doesn't want or need your manifesto.

Like his dad, he will never be allowed anywhere near the Big House.

I won't be voting anymore until "None of the Above", (NOTA) is an option to vote for. Otherwise, these elections are a joke.

Well...I guess you'll be disappointed when the results are in. You give voters way too much credit. Yes...Bush will win the Republican nominee...no doubt about it. Whether you vote on it or not.

But I applaud you on your notion that you can actually change something

I think you may be surprised come election time....Neither Paul has any chance, unfortunately.....I have been pro Paul and pushing him/them for a LOOONG time now and the Libertarian party can't even get the 5% of votes needed to gain traction for an election....Clinton/Bush AGAIN....Here we go again....

I for one, am glad to hear that you won't be voting because IMO, your "short list" of viable candidates SUCKS!

I mean really, Paul...Trump...Carson?

The way the GOP is going nowadays, I seriously doubt they will capture the White House again in my lifetime.

It may very be that it is you who should be looking for a new home in a foreign land, because those of us who do still vote are completely fed up with the list of nut-jobs and traitors being promoted by the Neo-conservative, bible-thumping right-wingers in this country.

Furthermore, the fact that you believe you represent some kind of a majority in America is just mind boggling.

meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

It's going to be a very disappointing election, even if it takes a few years to figure it out.

There is no fixing this. Tear it down.

If I could star you 5 times I would....The 2 party system needs abandoned NOW!!! If we wait until after this election, we will have another wacko Bush in office and many more wars than we are in already!

You won't vote Democrat but will vote Republican? Sounds like you haven't left the 2 party paradigm yet. Why aren't you going to vote for Gary Johnson?

I completely understand both your protest non vote and your exclusive willingness to only vote for Rand Paul. I had problems with the strict isolationist platform of his father though he is clearly not his father on that topic.

I would say that Gary Johnson is a better libertarian and a vote for him is better than not voting (unless we could get everybody to not vote).

Ultimately, the situation is dire and something needs to be done. I am of the opinion that the greatest politically addressable threat to our country right now is public sector unions. If that is the case, while I wouldn't ordinarily recommend a republican or democrat, Walker may be the most promising candidate. He has fought them and won and survived a recall.

He will probably be pushed out but, if he gets the nomination, I believe he could actually win the presidency.

He could get there and he might actually start to take on the metastasized cancer that is government employee unions. He might be murdered by union thugs but, that would just raise the issue to the level it needs to be in the national dialogue.

A lot of ifs but, that is the best I see we can hope for at the moment.

Oh I don't know about that. He was willing to stab his father in the back and support Romney to get in on the GOP's good side.

here's a concept. ANYONE who has their name on a ballot or anyone who makes it to high government position is compromised in someway, shape or form. our votes don't matter worth a spit in any direction and they ALL have shady past histories. Nobody clean and legitimate makes it in because they only allow people to hold positions if there is internal dirt on them so they can be coerced to follow whatever agenda is necessary.

2 party system, 3 party system, there is 1 party and its never of, by and for the people. sad, but true. politics is a giant distraction that seeks to convince people that if they try hard enough change can be made from within, but no change can come from within the system itself. the system won't allow for it. so any attempt to use the system to change itself is futile.

I actually agree. I think Obama has done far less damage to the country than Bush did. Obama merely continued many of Bush's policies. He certainly screwed things up with Obamacare and his idiotic gun grab, but nothing he did can trump lying about reasons to go to war or tanking the economy.
