Death should come for them on silent wings, sew terror throughout their ranks as no military action ever could, and for their numbers to mean nothing in the face of it. There is no standard military action which can achieve that.

That only works in the west. Soldiers are paid to fight and go back to base at the end of the day. When their tour of duty is over they are going "home". The countries we invade are their home. They've nowhere to go. They fight with what they can including suicide. Add in spiritual fervor and there is little chance of "ultimate victory". Just more blood and treasure poured down the war hole.

Which is what the corporate war industry wants… it is what they are getting.

Thus the term "endless war"…
