I live on the planet where the politicians won't be the ones dragging you to court for a dishonourable discharge...

That's higher military members who will be doing that so your anger is misplaced at politicians rather than those in the military who have the power to give a real order.


If that sniper was humble enough not to write a book and cash out on the "enjoyment" of death if agree with you that they're a hero...

This guy sounds more like a sociopath imo...
He may well have helped soldiers come back alive...


But then that proclamation makes me wonder about all the soldiers who couldn't save their comrades as much as they tried to...
Do they then lose their "hero" title because their brothers passed away?


No I think this "hero" title is being overused and also the way it's being used in this sense singles out only those who saved others instead of anybody who put their body on the line no matter the end product.

Wow none of our men and uniform are doing anything to help? What about Katrina ,fukushima,38th parallel Korea ,Haiti and on and on? Maybe with your way of thinking we should bring every single one of our troops back home including our navy ,seal up our borders and tell the rest of the world to go # themselves if something bad happens?

I served in the military and that's exactly what I think.
I'm tired of my tax dollars being spent to enrich the likes of Halliburton and KBR and all the other war profiteers capitalizing on lives and blood.

I think if anyone deserves the right to write a book and make a some money it's Chris Kyle he's dead now and because of that book his wife and kids will live comfortably as they should after the sacrifices he made for his country I wish he had written and profited of a hundred novels and movies!

However, anyone has a right to pen their own book to publicise the plight of War...


When that book is filled with glorification and at least one proven falsity is when I start to question ones "heroism" and start to think they had ulterior motives than just defending their brothers in arms.



As for us Brits, we'll be fine...
Especially if we don't have to worry about "friendly fire".

Thank god my forefathers were smart enough to give us the 2nd amendment so at least we can organize and fight back if things over here in America ever get as crazy as in Europe .
