1 Chris Kyle was a soldier he had no say where he was sent to do battle !

2. Lol there is no number 2 you forgot that lol

3. How do you know he wasn't tormented by his actions could you read his mind? He took a bad situation and turned it into a good situation by saving american lives while killing the enemy on battlefield!

4 and 5 show proof he made up story about killing people in New Orleans and killing men who tried to rob him!
6. Governor sued him and won well anybody can be sued here in America it doesn't always mean justice was served!
7. He didn't give all the proceeds from his book to charity well think God he didn't because now he is dead and His family needs the money!

I have also noticed that for all the nitpicking over his book there is nothing positive being said about him!
1. Joined service to serve God and country!

2.volumteered for hardest special forces branch known to man.

3.made it through seal training wich most normal human beings including me can not handle physically or mentally!

4.when sent to battle he honored his oath and didn't act like a puss!

5.Was the best sniper who ever lived!

6.served 4 tours when only one was required!

7.wrote a great book that would ensure his wife and family would be taken care of long after his death!

8. His life and story will ensure that millions of Americans enlist in the military and learn how to fight and shoot and keep our republic strong!

He bragged about how much he liked killing people, going so far as to state that if he didn't have a family he would have gone back to keep killing. So either he wasn't tormented or he lied yet again.

A jury seems to disagree with that notion. There are multiple witnesses supporting the governors story and Chris changed his story several times.

The amount of lying done by Chris Kyle disgraces his uniform,
His team and is a violation of creed that SEAL's purport to live by. Were he still in, that would be a court martialable offense. It's vulgar and disrespectful to every honorable soldier who served. He should've been ashamed of himself. His conduct was entirely unbecoming if him.

Please... As if service to your country is a testament to character and honesty. That just isnt the case. Have you comsidered thst maybe...just maybe someone in this thread may have served, been nearly as highly trained and wasnt a pussy hiding out with a spotter up to a mile away in some instances, someone who actually faced their enemies close enough to watch the light fade from their eyes? someone who has enough persona integrity that they dont recel in amd brag about those theyve shipped. Because if thats your criteria then I'm your huckleberry chief. Does that make my opinion weigh anymore or are you so caught up in hero worshipping CPO Kyle that your going to stick to your version of events til you exhale your last breath? The fact is, CPO Kyle contradicts himself multiple times, some of his stories cant be verified, some he refused to attempt to verify when asked,some things he straight up gets caught with his pants down, other instances the movie itself flat out lies about things and conflates issues surrounding the character they are selling, the legend they are creating. Because thats exactly what he is in death, a marketable character ripe for financial plundering. And thats exactly what this thread is supposed to be about before it turned into a traimwreck... Its about how the movie distorted truth barely touching on Kyle's potentially unscrupulous character.

I like the remark about doing your research. Do you take your own advice? If you had, you might have found out that while this particular link reaches back to alternet, this story is told and has been told by various outlets of varying degrees of reliability including very legitimate sources. Its not the sole domain of alternet. If thst were the case id say you were right to be suspicious. But thst isnt the case.
