I have no idea what we can do about it except cuddle and hold hands without talking to each other. Maybe we could sing a little Kumbya? Minus the "lord" part because that could be offensive to our opinionless posse.

They're also the cause of almost all growth. But we COULD do without them, no?

What would happen if we all started to deal in only dry facts?

That would be the fact of the matter.

I always loved this quote from JFK: "Too often we enjoy the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought."

That being said, opinions can trigger lively discussions or insights, get someone looking for the facts, or just provide some good old catharsis.

They have some very important uses.

I am of the opinion that having opinions that opinions are the root of evil is, well, very opinionated.

I don't think the problem is having opinions, they are kinda like balls, half the world has a pair, and that's fine.
the problem is people that flat out attack you for having a different opinion, that use aggressive wording just because you see reality in a slightly different way.

Considering this is a conspiracy based website if we dealt exclusively with facts there would probably be about 10 threads on the whole site and it would be boring as crap
