wonder if there's anyway to solve that concern. i mean everyone would know if she suddenly was fired, that it was true afterall, and there really was a concern. you'd think that alone would allow her to speak up if she believed that or had evidence of it.

Agian I am not trying to say this is a racist snub, just that I don't think the reaction to some one bringing it up needs to be so negative.
I know it's cause al is doing it and that muddies the water cause he is known to cry wolf.

I also don't agree with the idea of throwing the possibility out the window cause a one black person of authority isn't claiming racism.

You are correct. Al is the one and only reason some are showing negativity. I try and try in my daily life to be a better person. Then it is all thrown out the window, in regards to racism, because folks like Al find racism in every corner and shadow. He would have us believe that racism is everywhere, and it is the fault of all white people, not just the one's who perpetrate racist acts or crimes.

I have no white guilt or white shame, but Al says I should. Most whites don't do what he claims we are all guilty of. And just because he says so, a great deal of blacks follow his every word, and we start all over again. Kinda like for and against gun threads on ATS. Seems like once a week we have another one, and we rehash the same old script each time.

Almost forgot: I will give you that saying something could have a negative impact on her career. The more I think about it, she has two choices. 1. Say something if she feels what Al is saying is true, 2. Or just move on and ignore Al.

There are very few people who could turn racism into a career. Even fewer who could make a living at it, and even fewer who could earn a fortune from it, literally.

It is quite an accomplishment, and requieres a level of brilliance that, in this case is both underappreciated, and underestimated.

Maybe he should look at the movies recommended and see that if black actors and actresses tried a little harder then they would be nominated....

I dont hear him complain that the most influential and powerful lady in showbiz in the US is a black woman. Regardless of how she got to be that!!

Hollywood without a doubt does have racial issues but this is way down on the totem poll of problems.

And anyway its a secret voting process what in the world is he do about that

lead a march on Hollywood and look really ridiculous!


With all the issues in the AA community like crime, cops killing unarmed black men, joblessness, the inner city infrastructure crumbling, he should focus on those issues
