Well, turn on your TV and look.

Real change does not come easy,
nor does it come cheap,
and right now there are a LOT of people protesting for that change.

That is how change, real change takes place,
and I hope it does.

That is how good people get hurt, arrested and killed, on their terms with their solutions to their problems that they created. Yeah, good luck with that. Any "change" will be firmly manufactured from willy wankas magic play land. Like edible body cameras.
I think that would make George Orwell proud.

Sounds to me like you think it is just a lost cause or hope it is.

Well, whatever it is,
it is certainly interesting to watch happen.

There is also a lot of police officers out on those streets,
lets hope they are good ones.

A few of Hitler's close friends were OK too and even helped to smuggle people abroad to save lifes but when it comes to US police and most others police in the west the days are long gone where they sigh up to server the local community and if they speak up then they are soon without a job.

Hero's I say but they are very rare

Any killing of a human by the police needs to go to court just so the public can see that justice is done even if the trial needs only run for a day to clear things up.

I'm sure most want their paycheck and go home.....or to the bar, or to whatever cops do when they're not cops. Others I bet will be more akin to that pepper spraying cop at the university during the occupy protests. A man taking too much pleasure in his job.

The die is cast perhaps. Surely New Yorkers won't be out did by any other city.
but you're right, whatever it is let's hope it ends well.

LOL so I take it you are one of those people who believe fascism is basicaly just Nazi Germany?. Ill provide some links you can read so you can understand what fascism is and how it applies to modern governments. If still you choose to ignore the information provided and wish to believe the illusion, thats up to you. But please understand one thing, America has very much been a fascist government for a very very long time.

Try reading about what fascism actually is, and what it looks like when put into practice

Sorry about the quality of the video, but what you gonna do.

Frank Zappa, Howard Zinn, and Noam Chomsky on American Fascism

Definitions of fascism
Authoritarianism
Corporatism
Fascist corporatism

Lol so I take it you're one of those people who can see whatever they want to see and talk themselves into believing whatever they want? Your links are not necessary. If you legitimately believe we are in the same boat as people under Hitler, Mussolini, Pinochet, and the like then you really, really need to bone up your history bruh

Thank you for confirming you do not know what fascism actualy is, please refer to the sources I linked above.

Although Hitler adopted many aspects of fascism he adhered to what is now called Nazism or National Socialism.

Mussolini, well. You might want to read this, Italian Fascism

Italian Fascism promoted a corporatist economic system whereby employer and employee syndicates are linked together in associations to collectively represent the nation's economic producers and work alongside the state to set national economic policy

Sound familiar?

And I take it you actualy have little to no understanding of who Pinochet was or maybe the irony of the fact the United States installed him into power is entirely lost on you?.

Fascism has many many forms, it is an extensive ideology philosophy that is adopted by many modern governments from Asia, Europe and the Americas.

need to bone up your history bruh

Are you on drugs?, what does that even mean.

Oh! Oh! So america isn't fascist, because it doesn't adhere to strict fascist ideology then, right? So we have "American Fascism."

Ah. Yes. Point made then. America isn't fascist. It's "American fascist." Because admittedly, one can't be fascist by adopting "some" or "many" but not "all" of the ideology. You're welcome for giving you the stage to clarify that we are indeed not fascist, but "American fascist."

As long as you started this thread...

My personal experiences with cops have been good - even very good

There was just one incident that was awful, but it didn't involve me, I was just there. If I hadn't been there it might have been a lot worse, but I won't get into that in this thread

I have a friend that was married to a cop, and so I heard a lot of great stories that I wouldn't even know about otherwise. He's a great guy - he would be the first to tell you that there are good cops and bad cops - same as people anywhere. I heard a lot of stories that were more good than bad

They face things every day that most of us don't even have to think about - so we don't. It's an incredibly complicated and difficult job and I think most of us realize that. These stories that we've been focused on lately aren't specifically about cops but are more about our system, and the problems within that system that are allowed to continue. Many of the issues that we're all so angry about are things that involve all of us - our attitudes and beliefs - and lazy thinking

This thread probably won't get a lot of attention right now - true. It's still good that you made it though. Nothing in life is all one way or the other

When we have to start threads about how "not all cops are bad," we should acknowledge that the problem of bad cops is rather significant.

Well here are eight of them beating a man so where are these good cops people talk about

This lot need hanging and makes Hitler's SS look peaceful by comparison

These stories that make the headlines are the worst of the worst - they represent a only a fraction of the bad stories out there. They aren't the exceptions that make the rule, and there does seem to be a trend lately - we should be angry about that

I hate all or nothing arguments though - nothing is ever all one way or all the other. There are a lot of good cops and it's harder for them to do their jobs because of the bad cops - and the system that allows for bad behavior to continue

It's people that allow things to exist or continue the way they are - district attorneys, jurors, lawyers, judges, congress, the senate - voters

Ummm.......Can you say...complicit............Forrest...?

Sorry...as long as they keep protecting the asshats and keep everything interdepartmental then they all deserve the bums rush.....every single one of them...

We need to move to robotic police.......at least they can be hacked when they step out of line...

We need to open up every police organization with a can opener...pry back the lid and dig out the manifest rot...
There's no logic to having the police...police themselves...Shine the light on every single thing they do and keep prosecutors/DA/Union reps clean away from all of them...
Only when they enjoy FEWER rights than the average Joe...I might take giving a damn about them...under advisement...

Until then.....NAW...they deserve neither respect or welcome...

Ummm...they do indeed go out to the bar..........and drive home three sheets to the wind...But hell...they're putting their lives on the line every single day protecting and serving........................Their incorporated fiefdoms and the master...

They work for "The Man"...not their fellow men...and they summarily execute (in more ways than one) from their positions of lordship..........all while getting a free pass to expense their gang "justice"...............Dredd style...

Mandatory breath test....say eight times a day...Piss in the cup every other day...
Fired and publicly humiliated for roid use...
Jailed for touching anyone........................ever...A Keep your hands to yourself policy of stand off restraint without harm to anyone...
Jailed for false reporting...
Jailed for keeping silent about the internecine corruption and criminal behavior of their..."brothers"...
Jailed and publicly flogged every other week for murder...or should it be every week...?

I'd say that's a fine start I'm sure you all could help fill in some of the other blanks...
Speaking of blanks......forget Barneys ONE bullet....issue them blank rounds...It just might keep some 12 year old's alive...
