The article on Kurdish vs. ISIS clashes is quite credible and accurate according to German news reports.

I don't think Germany ever suggested banning Islam , however calls that something be done about "radicals" and "Salafists" have been coming for a while.
These are a small a fraction of German Muslims at present.
www.gatestoneinstitute.org...

I suppose the laws against ISIS are very targeted against certain symbols, propaganda, recruitment points and travel for people considered at risk; similar to laws once used against the extreme right-wing.

My guess is that freedom of speech allows for enough surveillance to eventually give them just enough rope to hang themselves with.

All those brainwashed young loudmouths and idiots of 16-25 will probably be picked off one by one and spend the rest of their miserable 70 years staring at a concrete wall.
Sad, really how much sect-leaders from countries with dual purposes can mislead the young and vulnerable.
Not even the majority of Muslims will ever want to remember them.

Islam will continue to flourish, also in the West, although its message will be more about self-growth and improvement, as religion should be.
Things will be different in certain ways, but both Europe and Islam will find a way to survive and co-exist, without some stupid medieval thinking and a black flag threatening to take over.
The world will move on to the next issue of the day, while the "martyrs" will remain buried alive.

Maybe I'm wrong, but that's a likely scenario.

The people of Europe and many other countries are tired.
The erstwhile liberals are fed up of the terrorist, homophobic and misogynist agenda.
The tide is turning.
Maybe there will be more conflict, but the majority of the world has decided to scrap the Islamist ideology from the face of the planet.
Better to do it slowly and coax them all out of their holes.
Let not one remain free.

Germany bans keeping your arm out at 90' to your body.
So I'm not surprised they would ban something as nebulous as "ISIS support" while ignoring the smouldering Communism and growing Islam in the country.
What a bunch of Zionist cuckolds.

Because maybe...

A) the thread is not about the US government
B) you make a comment for which you provide no proof whatsoever
C) the thread is about Germany 'banning' support of IS so it's the most relevant thing to comment on
D) see A

Well I'm not foaming at the mouth, but just giving my estimation of what might transpire.
And I'm hoping it could make somebody who thinks they should join an Islamist group on the basis that they will march triumphantly into global capitals, and convert Buckingham Place or the White House into a mosque think twice.

The world is a patchwork of interests, and there's no monolithic "American" or Islamic" groups.

Whether it's the CIA, or Saudi Wahabis with big oil money or whosoever, the expanding caliphate is not going to happen.
It's doomed.

I just want the young people who are reading all the Islamist propaganda to consider this.
You will be the puppets and the accused foot soldiers (useful idiots) for an agenda you might not even understand.

The mainstream media aren't touching this one (as usual since they seem hellbent on destroying western culture), but here are a few non-MSM sources:

.

This was all over the news here in Germany 2 weeks or so ago.
What worries me more is, that they want to prevent people leaving Germany to join the jihad.
I think they should just let them go, but revoke their passports and never let them in. Germany is still afraid of their own past, they are too afraid of the backlash if they would just deport all ISIS supporters.
Today I heard Wolfgang Bosbach saying, that he wants to reintgrate people that are coming back from Syria and resocialize them.
Seriously? What is this crap? I am not paying my taxes, so that this people can do some jihad-tourism and I have to pay for their resocialisation.

To be honest I hadn't realized IS had a fan club here at ATS.

Not a ISIS fan club more like a Freedom of Speech fan club. Freedom of Speech was created to protect unpopular speech not popular speech. Germany is not new to banning people from saying what is on their mind in some ways it's like Hitler is still ruling it.

So, I just looked up the relevant laws for your claims.
We have freedom of speech here in Germany, as long as you are not violating other laws. You are not allowed to call for violence.
www.gesetze-im-internet.de...

Article 5
[Freedom of expression, arts and sciences]

(1) Every person shall have the right freely to express and disseminate his opinions in speech, writing and pictures, and to inform himself without hindrance from generally accessible sources. Freedom of the press and freedom of reporting by means of broadcasts and films shall be guaranteed. There shall be no censorship.

(2) These rights shall find their limits in the provisions of general laws, in provisions for the protection of young persons, and in the right to personal honour.

(3) Arts and sciences, research and teaching shall be free. The freedom of teaching shall not release any person from allegiance to the constitution.

www.gesetze-im-internet.de...

shall be liable to imprisonment from three months to five years.

(2) Whosoever

1. with respect to written materials (section 11(3)) which incite hatred against segments of the population or a national, racial or religious group, or one characterised by its ethnic customs, which call for violent or arbitrary measures against them, or which assault the human dignity of others by insulting, maliciously maligning or defaming segments of the population or a previously indicated group

(a) disseminates such written materials;

(b) publicly displays, posts, presents, or otherwise makes them accessible;

(c) offers, supplies or makes them accessible to a person under eighteen years; or

(d) produces, obtains, supplies, stocks, offers, announces, commends, undertakes to import or export them, in order to use them or copies obtained from them within the meaning of Nos (a) to (c) or facilitate such use by another; or

(4) Whosoever publicly or in a meeting disturbs the public peace in a manner that violates the dignity of the victims by approving of, glorifying, or justifying National Socialist rule of arbitrary force shall be liable to imprisonment not exceeding three years or a fine.

(5) Subsection (2) above shall also apply to written materials (section 11(3)) of a content such as is indicated in subsections (3) and (4) above.

Was the Americans that actually did all that after World War II. Given that's the case, pretty offensive to say it's like hitter is still running the place :p

America is fond of free speech when it's in their own country, not so much when they occupy others.

Animals do have a soul...
Do not kill what you cannot create is a very Islamic teaching!!!

There is not an animal (that lives) on the earth, nor a being that flies on its wings, but (forms part of) communities like you. Nothing have we omitted from the Book, and they (all) shall be gathered to their Lord in the end.

— Quran 6:38

So we give thanks & praise to Allah for giving us something to sustain our energy & health!!!

That makes a lot of sense to me, but what about people who specifically do not want to eat halal food and as a result of pushes from a religious community are being offered less choice? If our communities can have discussions about these things there would be so much less animosity among them.

I always thought the Muslim faith believed animals go to heaven because they can do no wrong, or because they do not know the difference between right and wrong, good and evil? If this is the case then its hardly the same type of Soul as Man apparently possesses given the notion of freewill and all that jazz.

That being said it works for me if i get to be reunited with my dogs although I do love Bacon so i might not be gaining access myself.

Already in the UK, you can't buy non-Halal meat from a normal supermarket!!

SO I thought Halal was all meat except pork. Guess I was wrong. It sounds a lot like Kosher meat. I don't see this going over very well in the US because many animals sold in the supermarkets were fed animal byproducts. I swear I thought I saw Kosher smoked links once at the grocery store but they must have been beef or I am not remembering correctly which is highly likely. And hind quarters? Does that include chicken thighs and drum sticks?

Halal is an Arabic word that means "permissible." In terms of food, it means food that is permissible according to Islamic law. For a meat to be certified "halal," it cannot be a forbidden cut (such as meat from hindquarters) or animal (such as pork.)

The slaughter of a halal animal is called "zabihah" and there are certain guidelines to follow:

•Allah's (God's) name must be pronounced during slaughter.
•The instrument must be very sharp to ensure humane slaughter. The animal must be slit at the throat.
•The animal must not be unconscious
•The animal must be hung upside down and allowed to bleed dry. Eating blood is not halal.
•These steps must be accomplished by a Muslim or the People of the Book (Christian or Jew.) Many observant Muslims find kosher meat acceptable.
•The animal must have been fed a natural diet that did not contain animal by-products.

There is a great many passages on animals in the Quran, too many to list...
It is true they can do no wrong, but they do have a soul...

Can't wait to be reunited with my old Pitt, Trouble, too pal...

I can't speak on you eating the Bacon...

But Allah is most forgiving...
This is a basic tenet of Islam...

lol @ germany... arent we the politically correct ones of the 21st century... lol

Trying to manipulate all europe into financial submission and them coming up with something like this... screw you Germany and your political correctness trying to pose well for the international photo while still executing the fuhrer's plan to dominate Europe. ╬

Noone has the right to "BAN" anything but I guess any kind of "ban" suits Germany and its history.
