I figured with all the threads being made concerning the Ebola virus and it's first official diagnosis here in the states, creating a thread that tracks the timeline of those individuals testing positive for the disease and their location may help to project and or verify possible hot zones down the road.

I've found an article that has begun a timeline of positive, pending and negative cases. So I'll need help from anyone interested in updating and posting cases as they evolve.

I would also like to create a map, specifically of the states that include designations of affirmed, pending and negative cases. This may prove useful in keeping track of the virus and projecting possible outbreaks in the future, that is if it isn't contained and hopefully it is.

Over 114 people have now been or are currently being tested for Ebola in the U.S. With all of the myriad rumors and potential cases of Ebola out there, it’s important to remember that not every single person tested is going to be positive. This article was started in an attempt to list new potential cases, and our staff will update it with results as soon as they come

Ebola Watch 2014

That thread is not very big. The biggest threads I've seen with the most data so far have been the Atlanta one and the recent one and a few more:

Ebola Epidemic Could Become Global Crisis

CDC mobilizing: Dallas Hospital confirms First Positive Ebola Case in the US

Ebola: Facts, Opinions, and Speculations.

Awesome! Anybody know if there's a real-time map with all the rumored cases?

Healthmap and RSOE don't seem to include all of them. S + F
